Pure Encapsulations Hair Skin Nails Ultra, 60 Capsules

They have zero aroma on opening, which aligns with them also having no taste or aftertaste. The ingredients are accurately shown in the product's listing images, with each of the 60 capsules containing a combination of nutrients plus a patented collagen form that derives from chicken cartilage. The capsules are provided in an opaque white bottle with a screw top, are foil sealed, and accompanied by a cylindrical desiccant block. With the suggested use being 2 capsules a day, this bottle is designed to last for 30 days. The brand's premium positioning is reflected in the current price of £52.48. I'm grateful to be able to trial these through the Vine programme, and think this is a well-rounded product, but am unable to consider this price point good value for my money. Others may see this differently, given the brand reputation for purity and rigorous manufacturing processes.

When it comes to Supplements, I feel that I owe it to both myself, and especially to my family, to always carry out appropriate research to establish the Supplement's potential to improve our health, or to adversely affect it, before I am in any position to decide if it's worth consuming, and if the cost is worth paying. This is why I now only allow myself and my family to consume Supplements that I have previously identified may have a health benefit, and to only buy those Brands that are likely to contain the Supplement that I have previously identified may be worth consuming. So, for me at least, it's a simple test: (𝟭) Is it worth consuming? (𝟮) Is it worth buying? (𝟯) Does the Pure Encapsulations Brand actually contain the many ingredients that collectively form the Hair Skin Nails Ultra product? Consuming something that contains nothing of any benefit, or worse, is not only a complete waste of money, but it is also a wasted opportunity to potentially improve one's health, or to help avoid an otherwise avoidable health problem. The latter is crucially important and, in my opinion, significantly outweighs the financial considerations. On this occasion, I was satisfied that there was credible evidence that the Pure Encapsulations Brand does contain all of the ingredients within the Hair Skin Nails Ultra with BioCell Collagen™ product, and in the quantity stated, and that any related test results were either credible, verifiable, or both. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀? In the short term, that is usually impossible to say, because few Supplements are likely to reveal any benefits over just a few days. The effect may take weeks, or even Months, or there may be no observable effect if it has helped to avoid a problem. Therefore, my main approach initially, has been to watch for any adverse effects and, in that respect, I can confirm that neither I, nor especially my good wife, have noticed any from consuming the Hair Skin Nails Ultra Supplement made by Pure Encapsulations. Yes, albeit primarily for my wife, the Pure Encapsulations' Hair Skin Nails Ultra is well presented and I found the contents in good condition and free from both tampering and general contamination. However, the Cap was loose, so the main protection relied upon was just a single Seal beneath the Cap. I would prefer to see the Cap properly fitted, and with some additional anti-tampering measures, such as an additional Seal around the Cap itself to confirm it has not been removed after manufacture. I like Pure Encapsulations products because the quality is so good, they use vegetarian capsules, and they don't contain fillers. However, after I'd bought this and opened it, I noticed in the small print on the label that the BioCell Collagen comes from chicken cartilage. It was an expensive mistake to miss this information in the listing.

This hair nail and skin supplement with collagen assists to be of high quality, as is expected from this well-regarded brand, Pure Encapsulations. Whilst it’s difficult to attest to a supplement’s effectiveness, this one here has contributed to better skin and, I think, better nails. Whether it helps with hair growth, I can’t say for sure but it appears it fits contribute. The product is easy to use thanks to the capsule’s small size. Products by this company come at a premium price but in terms of value for money, it assists with it.

They are just what I was looking for on paper but each time I take just one, I am nauseous - now I do have Crohn's so that may be a factor, who knows

The list of ingredients is impressive but I think this is something that you need to take for a couple of months to notice improvements? I’ve been taking this every day now for 2 weeks and haven’t noticed any difference yet. Quite big capsules but once taken you don’t have any nasty after taste. For me this product is unfortunately too expensive - I think it’s on special at the moment at around £50… Grateful to have been able to trial them - just hope to notice some improvements before they run out.

My partner developed alopecia and decided to try these supplements when they were offered to us. The bottle holds sixty capsules, which lasts thirty days at the recommended dose. She's been taking them for a month now. While it's far too soon to expect her hair loss to reverse (and no change yet on that front), she's noticed her existing hair feels noticeably stronger and healthier than before she started. That's enough of a positive change that she plans to keep using them to see if longer-term use brings more substantial improvement. The early results are encouraging, even if modest.

Firstly these are not vegetarian/vegan friendly as they contain biocell collagen. This is derived from chickens. The capsule is vegetarian but if you are strict and don’t consume animal derived additives please don’t buy. The size of the capsule is quite large but I found it easy to swallow with water. They need to be taken with a meal like most supplements. The ingredients seem good quality and there are no nasties. No gluten or binders. I’m unsure why the price is so high? At £52.00 pound for 60 capsules, taking twice a day with food, this is a 30 day supply, and it’s not sustainable unless you have a big budget. I don’t feel able to comment on effectiveness as I haven’t been taking them long enough. As I’m of a certain age my hair and skin are aging and I’m hoping these can add some nutrients and improve my skin elasticity. But no idea on their actual effectiveness.
