Back about 25 years ago there was some items on the market that was using ephedrine and, that worked for me back then but ever since they made it illegal, I have not found any thing that has giving me a noticeable boost of energy until I purchased this. From day one when my first package came in and I tested this energy shot I noticed right away that my heart rate had gone up and it gave me a very substantial boost of energy. I haven't felt a bump of energy like that since the no-dose ephedrine was on the market. I have tried pretty much every single energy drink and energy shot on the market and none of it even comes close to the amount of energy I receive when I take one of these shots. This is now my fifth package of these because they do really work. I normally only get between four and four and a half hours of sleep per night and I have gotten used to just that little bit of sleep so now when I get less than that four or four and a half hours I'm real sluggish but if I get more than the four four and a half hours of sleep my body aches all over. Now if I only get 3 hours of sleep I just do one of these energy shots and it increases my energy tenfold. If I sleep more than four and a half hours I take stuff that helps with the aches and pains but I take a shot of this and again my energy gets boosted. On the days I sleep more than four and a half hours I really don't need that extra energy boost but it is very nice especially when you're in your 40s. This increases my energy so much it makes me feel like I'm 20 years younger. Seriously this is a really good product and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you go without it being in your pantry. Edit: 5/1/2025, So I have been ordering this for quite some time and it is still worked throughout this whole time. Which is very surprising cuz normally they stop working after your body gets used to it. What I want to say this time is I have ordered three out of the four flavors The only one I haven't tried is a peach. I tried the cherry the taste surprisingly for being cherry was very good then I tried the screaming tangerine. I thought I would like that but it honestly tasted like dirty feet. So I tried the watermelon, the watermelon has got an extremely good flavor and I have ordered it twice now. The thing is both times that I have ordered this The tracking stated that it would be about a week or so before it would get here both times within 2 days after ordering this product it was sitting at my address. This is very impressive considering both times it said it would be a little more than a week and both times it arrived within 2 days of ordering not two days after the first 24 hours it was literally 48 hours after I press the order button. Superb!

So, all through college and most of my work years so far in different facilities have me heavily relying on caffeine that isnt coffee or tea. I scraped by for years buying the 5-hour energy drink brand name, sucking up the expense because it didn't let me crash like so many other things did. I tried this on a whim because I needed something easier on my account and I didn't want to do caffeine pills or amp up my caffeine intake even more when half the time I am dehydrated working at a hospital. I am really friggin shocked by a taste that isn't terrible but more importantly, lasts me the majority of the day, even working on a very labor intensive unit. I find that the one shot (300mg) can get me by the entire day of my 12-13 hour shift. I can definitely tell when it is wearing off, but I am low-key a bit afraid to do more than the 1 shot a day I've been pounding the extra strength 5hour energy shots for years and didn't think this would be enough But I am pleasantly surprised that it works really well for my needs. I made the mistake of doing 150mg shot about 2 in the afternoon and I couldn't sleep till like 2 am. 😂 Lesson learned. I am pleased that it tastes better than what I am used to for energy shots and packs a bigger, longer lasting punch. It also just feels right being cold and coming from a tap in a box in my fridge. I presume it's probably okay to drink it unrefrigerated but I just like it better cold.

Cherry is my go to!!! It has a nice, fresh cherry flavor, nothing like medicine or any other artificial Cherry I’ve ever tried! Truly Tastes amazing and definitely one of the best energy drinks on the market!!! It goes down easy and there is no funky aftertaste, no jitters, no crash, no problems!!! One box will last me over 2 months!!! I drink 1.5 upon waking and twice on workout days! $30 for two months is well worth it for me. Also, Box setup is almost effortless and instructions are easy to follow. I keep mine in the fridge, though it’s not required. I get EVERY drop out of the bag. When it’s empty(stops dispensing liquid), I open the box, pull the bag out and snip a corner and am able to pour another FULL bottle of energy drink out!!! Lastly, there are 2 small plastic bottles with each box so, If you need a boost for later, fill a bottle and take it with you! ...This is priced at an extremely reasonable cost so don’t let the lack of “subscribe and save” stop you. Cause You’re missing out. It’s THAT good!

Overall I like this product quite a bit. It is definitely worth a try if you are someone who likes products such as 5 hour energy. I have bought 2 cases of this stuff so far and have had some fairly mixed results with it but overall I think it works well enough. Pros. Cheap! Approximately 60 cents per 2 ounce shot as opposed to around $3 for a 5 hour energy Noticeable increase in energy most of the time. When it works it really has a good effect. Refillable bottles makes carrying energy around with you a breeze. Measurements on the bottle make it easy to take precise doses. You can prolong the effects by taking a half bottle (1 ounce) a couple of times instead of the whole two ounce at once. Much milder taste than 5 hour energy. Cons. In my case at least, I get diminishing returns if I use it for several days straight. I get the strongest effect if I haven't used it in a few days. I also notice that sometimes it doesn't work as well if I am already really tired or exhausted. The best result seems to be when you take it before getting to that point. The only thing really keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the inconsistent results I have with it. When it works it is great, but it sucks when you need some extra energy and you don't get the effect you were looking for. This product is best for those who only need an energy boost occasionally as it seems to not work as well if you have been using it regularly. This could just be me though. Though it could also be mentioned that after taking it I seem to have slightly higher energy levels overall for the next day or two, so it may take awhile to get through your system. The main point is that it does work and you will know it as there is a very noticeable increase in energy. I also have not noticed any negative side effects while using it such as jittery hands or anything. The first couple times I used it I got a mild headache but that could easily have been due to something else and not related to the energy shots.

Good value, great taste. I have tried all 4 flavors, not fond of the Tangerine, but the Cherry, Watermelon and Peach are good. Can tell there is Succralose for sweetener, but it's not too strong.

Been meaning to write an X-Mode review for a LONG time now... turns out I've been buying this stuff religiously since summer of 2015 (confirmed via examination of my inbox's Amazon emails). Time flies, while X-Mode lets me keep up! I originally came across X-Mode when seeking to buy energy shots in bulk at a lower price than my usual 5-Hour Energy shot. Before that, I'd routinely purchased the Kirkland-brand shots by the case but thought there had to be a cheaper alternative out there on Amazon. Lo and behold, I stumbled upon X-Mode! Borrowing from the ingenious boxed-wine concept, X-Mode provides a just as good, if not better, 5-Hour Energy experience in a SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper, way less wasteful package. The taste is great in my book (although folks who are opposed to energy shots' flavor in general likely won't be swayed), and X-Mode’s results are superb. A morning X-Mode shot, easily dispensed into a resealable, reusable bottle, is what sends me on my way each day. Simpler than making coffee, quicker than drinking down a thermos, and certainly better than a can of Red Bull, Monster, or other bubbly energy swill, X-Mode is the caffeine-delivery method you didn't know existed, much less realized you actually needed! A recent X-Mode epiphany: moving to beautiful West Texas several months ago, I now go camping often. And nothing has proven more convenient than filling up a few X-Mode bottles and throwing them into a backpack when it comes to efficient wake-up liquid on the trail. No fumbling with morning campfire coffee or popping caffeine pills with sharp onsets and hard crashes. X-Mode in a backpack takes up little space while doing a fine job. I've been an X-Mode advocate since day one and have converted many over the years now. If you're an energy shot person, you need to be an X-Mode energy shot person. Reason one—it saves you money, and you give up absolutely nothing in return. As for X-Mode’s flavors, I've tried them all, and the original cherry is what I keep coming back to. Their others are fine, but at the end of the day, it's a simple shot down the hatch in an instant. Hard to care too much about the specifics...

XMODE Extra Strength Energy Shots in Cherry Bomb sounded promising, but the experience left me feeling a bit let down. On the energy side, it absolutely delivers—no complaints there. The boost hits fast and lasts long enough to get through tough mornings or late-night tasks without fading halfway. But the flavor? That’s where things fall apart. The Cherry Bomb tastes more like “Cherry Oops” with an artificial afterbite that makes each shot feel like a chore. The refillable bottles are a cool idea, but they don’t make up for a taste that’s tough to power through. Overall, it’s functional and effective, but not exactly enjoyable. If flavor isn’t a dealbreaker, it may work—but I walked away disappointed.

I love this product and used to buy these a few years back. I love the Watermelon! Literally got it in 2 days!!!
