The first decent Flip Flops I bought was a pair of Crocs MODI Flips, that were on sale at my local sporting goods store..... I LOVED THEM !! My only concern was that they might not be as sturdy (or long-lasting) as a Super Expensive, well made pair. So, of course, I had to do more research and try to find THE BEST Flip Flops made. Finally (after much review reading) I settled on three.I have now worn all three for about 3 weeks. I cannot attest to durability after only 3 weeks but I can give my impression of what their durability might be. The features I was looking for were: Contoured Foot Bed, Arch Support, Comfort, Cushiness & Sole flex, Quality of Workmanship, Staying on During Activities, Running true to Size and Impression of Durability.FYI - I normally wear a size 10.5 med. shoe.The three Flip Flops I tried were:Croc's MODI $ - Size 11 MOluKai Ohana $$$ - Size 11 M They were a bit loose so I exchanged them for a size 10 M. I was skeptical because of the high price tag, but these are SO worth it! The support these provide is incredible for a sandal and the straps and footbed are very comfortable. After a couple days of wearing these around, my sciatica has improved significantly and I am a customer for life now. It's hard to find a good pair that will last long so I was hesitant to purchase these at the price, but they are great. I waited a year to write a review because like some of the pictures here, theres a tiny separation between the sole and the base of the shoe above the toes so i was worried it might eventually come apart. So far no additional separation has occured and they are still very comfortable. I wear them all day every day, literally, around the house or moving furniture or walking around all day. To clean them i just wear them in the bath and let them air dry, seems to work fine. They have excellent arch support and are extremely comfortable i'd give it an extra star if i could because it's hard to find quality products like this these days. Would recommend to anyone who wears flip flops. I'm 6'2, 250ish pounds, and the last pair of flops i bought i wore until they were literally paper thin. So far theres no noticable loss in density or arch support, but being a bigger guy it's bound to happen over time. They feel solid, which i like, and are probably a tiny bit heavier than most but it's a nice weight, definitely not like wearing heavy boots or shoes or anything like that. The size feels true to the size i ordered. My only complaint is while they're pretty water resistant, the strap stays wet for a long time because it's fabric underneath, but the fabric is super comfortable and rubber or another material would not be so i really cant even complain about that.
