T.U.F.F. Puppy: Season 2

Funny and Frantic
In many ways this is the cartoon that got away. It's from the same company, Billionfold, which made Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom, and ran as a Nicktoon. Like Odd Parents, it's extremely funny, fully of zingers and one-liners which go by like lightning and may be missed by many viewers. It has the same excellent art style as Danny Phantom, but that series for some reason wasn't nearly as funny as this one. There are some oddities. For one, the cast of recurring villains is quite small. This may be to utilize voice talent in a sort of ensemble, since the villains, as with Phineas and Ferb, have continuing engagements with the T.U.F.F. agents, rather than being the sort of cardboard cut outs they often are in superhero shows. There are a few things which I would have edited were I storyboarding the cartoon, but for the most part this cartoon stresses funny over gross or questionable innuendo, in which some later cartoons abound. It's also refreshingly free of snarky dialogue, opting for something much more like standup comedy. While some lines may go over kids' heads, I don't think parents would find much to object to, and any parents glancing at the screen may themselves be drawn in by this far above average show, and want to watch it with their kids (always a great idea).Sometime back I had ordered Season One, which is made on demand, and it didn't play well on the DVD player I had then. However, this Season Two DVD-R set plays excellently on the Blu Ray player I have now. It's also very well packaged, with three one sided discs in a snap case. There are 27 shows, each consisting of two cartoons.

Funny, underrated series.
Very funny show. Well-written, with plenty of silliness and action for kid viewers, but with surprisingly clever jokes mixed in to keep adults entertained. Example: In one episode the two main characters, Dudley and Kitty, accidentally drink a truth serum. When the Chief finds out, he is upset. He roars, "We work for the government! We can't have people telling the truth!" Most of the characters are funny and likeable, even the villains (maybe especially the villains). The show is probably a little too silly for some folks, and there's occasional rude toilet humor which may turn off some viewers, but for the most part it's fast-paced, zany fun. Quite a few of the episodes had me laughing out loud.

A(nother) Nicktoons Cult Classic (by Butch Hartman no less!)
Dudley and Kitty are back for another hilarious and action-packed season of TUFF Puppy! The crime-fighting team are at it again fighting the likes of DOOM, The Chameleon, Bird Brain, The Caped Cod, and FLOPP from taking over Petropolis! Like Invader Zim and Danny Phantom before it, TUFF Puppy has become a cult classic by many and that thanks to Butch Hartman (Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom) who given the show (as I mentioned with season 1) a lot of action, a lot of comedy, and a lot of heart. The Season 2 DVD contains all 26 episodes in production order and presented in their original widescreen formats (something that several episodes in Season 1 that were made during Season 2 like A Doomed Christmas lacked). So if love Nicktoons and/or a fan of Butch Hartman's work, then TUFF Puppy is right up your alley!

Looking good so far
We had to wait way past the initial delivery date (Maybe because of COVID backlog) however, we have received it and are enjoying so far.

Funny
The puppy is lots of fun to watch, kind of a doggie James Bond. Good times and lots of laughs

HAH HAAAHH HAAAAA, AGAIN! Season 2 is "MONO", but who cares! [:-)] This Show is hilarious!
I'm about near the end [:-(] of this HILARIOUS, BEST-DESIGNED AND FUNNY cartoon series! Strangely, with this SECOND season set, the sound is 'MONO', not STEREO like Season 1 is. [???] Anyway it doesn't take away from over-all fun, hilarious, face-paced [argh!][:-)] that this show has already proved to be. I already wrote a review about TUFF Puppy Season 1 and so did a lot of other people! So....[!][:-)]

Butch Hartman does it again. An amazing cartoon with great quality.
T.U.F.F. is a fun and lovable cartoon, with many interesting and funny characters. From the goofy protagonist Dudley Puppy and his karate-trained partner Kitty Katswell, to the hilariously stupid villain Verminious Snaptrap, this show has an amazing cast of great characters. For anyone who is familiar with Butch Hartman's previous cartoons, such as The Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom, or for viewers who like cartoons with Looney Tunes-style humor and animation, this is the perfect show for them!

Awsome cartoon!!
This is a great Tv show. Its about a dog that becomes a secret agent and has to save the day from the evil villains. This is also one of my favorite nickelodeon shows.
