Great product
The stand assist was a huge help to my mother. It enabled her to get to her feet more easily from her sofa so she could then walk with less frustration. It was easy to assemble

Helpful after injury in Lay-Z-Boy Chair
This worked really well in our Lay-Z-Boy chair. My mom was struggling to get out of the car after breaking her heal. This has really helped her transfer from the chair to the wheelchair and back.

Product will perform as advertised.
Super easy to assemble and install on couch or chair. A couch cushion provides little to no support to aid a person boosting themselves up. When properly positioned on the couch or chair and the support bars are properly height adjusted for the person who will use them, The Aid Bar will provide a solid means of support for that person to stand-up from the couch.

Has been helpful for getting up from a low bed
I didn’t want to buy this, it seems expensive for what it is. But I’m currently using a walker and am non weight bearing for months still. My bed is too low for me to stand up using my one good leg and without tipping the walker over. I did it for a couple weeks but the struggle and angle caused muscle pulls/tears and I was in danger of not ever being able to get up out of bed unless someone was here to help me. So, I caved and bought it. It’s still too expensive for what it is, but it has made getting up easier and at least one of two pulled muscles has calmed down. In this regard, it has been very worthwhile. I have been using this on top of the mattress, note that the instructions say you can use it on top of the mattress or couch cushion as long as the two arms sit far enough back from the edge. It’s not been a problem for me at all but I could see some people using it wrong and injuring themselves. Make sure it sits back at least 1-2 inches from the edge!

Vive
It just did not work for me. It helped me to stand up. But then, there was nothing to hold onto next. We tried it in several locations.

Perfect for elderly
This was the best purchase for my parents softer soda. Dad (96 yo) was considering buying a new stuffer couch and that made no sense when their favorite was still comfortable. But he needed help getting up. I put this together in minutes and installed it easily. Dad sat down and using the handles, literally stood straight up on the first try. He amused me by sitting down, standing up over and over it was perfect for him!

LAC's Chair
This product was easy to install, and has been a big help for my husband who has mobility issues. Part of his exercise regime is standing and sitting and this product has been very helpful in that exercise. We live in a small apartment and don't have room for more chairs, so this product has turned our sofa into an arm chair!

Decent product; the directions could be better
I bought this to help my spouse, who has hip problems, get up from the sofa. When it arrived, I dutifully reviewed the directions and counted the parts to make sure they were all there and was missing two. I returned the original package and ordered a replacement, which was delivered in a few days. To my surprise, it also seemed to be missing two pieces, which seemed unlikely. It turns out that despite the directions showing two pieces as separate - and instructs you to put them together - they’re shipped assembled. It seems like this would be easy to fix, either ship the number of separate pieces or change the directions. After the mystery was solved, it went together easily and installs just as easily. I put it under the cushion, which is the logical way to do it and what most people would do. But as other reviewers have noted, that makes the arms a little shorter (maybe an inch or two lower than a normal arm height) than ideal. The connections wiggle a bit, but the product seems stable enough. All in all, good and I’m happy I tried it but not great.
