Yes...I know it's weird, but I wanted something glitter. I have had a painted countertop for years and it was getting boring. 2 coats of primer, two coats of base coat and then a glitter coat. Though the glitter didn't really show through the paint as I had hoped, it was fine enough for me to just sprinkle everywhere. I may have gone overboard, but I love it. Because there is now texture from all the glitter, it's gonna require a lot of poly to make it smooth - but my glittery countertop will be perfect when done. Couldn't be happier - and there's plenty of glitter to save for another project. One word of caution!
