Great dies from a great company
I can only assume the low ratings are from new reloaders who don't know what they're doing. This is my third set of dies in different calibers from RCBS. In fact, I accidentally got a case stuck in my resizing die just yesterday (don't ask!) and when I reached out to RCBS their customer service went above and beyond. They will remove the stuck case and renew the die to factory standard free of charge (I didn't even have to ask). I had assumed I was out of luck. I'm not knocking Hornady (I've got some die sets from them too), but I can honestly say the customer service alone is worth the price of RCBS.

Can't go wrong with RCBS
With the state of the market right now, there's no reason to not reload every round you can. I used to be a Lee guy, and still use some of their stuff like their hand primer, but I kept having bad experiences with their dies (scratched necks/walls, out of spec sizings, etc.), so I switched to RCBS after reading some reviews. This is now my 5th RCBS set and 2nd carbide set. What I love about the carbide sets is the lack of need for case lube with straight-walled bras (although they recommend to lube every 10th round or so)! Makes sizing quicker and cleaner. Fingers crossed that one day someone invents a way to size bottlenecked cartridges without lube. One thing I'll give Lee is that they have an easier learning curve than RCBS. You really need to read the directions that come with RCBS dies or watch some videos; it's not just screw it in until it touches the ram like Lee's. There's a bit of adjusting and tuning that needs to be made beforehand. However, once you get the hang of them down, you'll really appreciate RCBS dies.

Nice set
Never planned on reloading 9mm, but I had so much brass I finally broke down. This carbide set is awesome. Works perfectly. Comes with resizing and depriming die, a stepped expander die, and a bullet seating and taper crimp die. Also included is a plug for seating hollow point/flat nose bullets as well as a plug for round nose bullets. An Allen key is NOT included

Great Set, User manual well written but Expander Die adjustment adjustment directions lacking
You should purchase this set it does a great job. The carbide is well worth the money, non carbide sizing dies require you to hand oil each casing to run it through the sizer. In addition purchase a good gauge to test you work, it is better to find problems on the bench and not at the range with a jammed gun. As to the expander die: the adjustment is blind and it assumes that the casing will easily slide up to the expanding point. I found this assumption to be rarely true. Yes you can just keep iterating on the adjustment till you get the bullet to fit in the casing. I would rather set the die and then look at the casing on the die. This can be done by removing the case holder and substituting a shim of the same thickness, for a 9mm holder a stack of washer that are .120" will do it. Then you can set the die, and when you remove it the case will stay on the die for inspection.

Dependable product from dependable company.
RCBS has excellent quality products, backed by rock (solid) customer service. At this point I only buy RCBS dies, to the point of replacing Lee dies I had previously

Product seems to be intact and in good condition. Other then when I opened box to die set. They were not in there pockets. One die seemed to have a ding on it. This is not on seller. It's on people that handle it in transit to destination. Die will work fine and not effect the case when reloading. But they are great dies. Ding was located bellow threads thankfully
