Keeps most NJ odors from entering the vehicle which is no easy feat. Installation was simple and fit my car as advertised. I was considering switching to a washable cabin air filter but after buying this I'm sticking with this brand for cabin filters and a washable one for the engine

Edit: Currently questioning Purolator that flow direction on the cabin filter is backwards. It is exactly the same as my old Mann Filter MCF 1008 except the yellow media is on the bottom and white/grey is on the top. (it is flipped compared to the old Mann filter). Meaning either the air flow direction has been screwed up or something else. Great media, the filters dont make the system blow at 50 pct of total air flow, smell great and by far the Mann / Now Purolator filters are now the best one can get if you own a Honda or Acura. So if you own a v6 Honda/Acura from 09 -14, this is the cabin filter to buy.

Yes, this DOES FIT a 2019 Ford Ranger. I have it in my truck and it fits just right. Install was simple for this vehicle. Remove glove box damper tether, drop glove box, open tab and swap filters, then reverse steps. I did dock a star as it was cold weather when I changed the filter, and the heater produced a hot smell (like a furnace the first time you fire it up) for a while after the filter change. It has since dissipated and I have no scents entering the cabin now.

I went with this filter in Dec 2024 because when I got my Ford truck back from the dealer (2 months there!), it smelt like shop rags and oil/gas. Popping in this filter really cleaned the air coming out of the vents dramatically but I did notice a slight reduction in air flow compared to the OEM filter but at the time, it was worth it. I just replaced this filter May 2025 ahead of summer since it is warming up and the old filter sure did catch dust and such, air speed was the same as the new replacement so it works well even partially dirty. The problem is that this carbon type filter did reduce air speed a small amount compared to the stock one Ford uses and summer temps means it is over 100F so may switch it out again and possibly try the K&N Cabin filter for the most airflow possible in the summer. If you want clean fresh air, can't go wrong with this filter though.

Installed, and instantly noticed the air flow was quite a bit stronger. Noticed a fresh smell right away. So far a big fan of this one! Decent price for what it is and dropped right in for perfect fit.

I have used Purolator filters for awhile now, and they seem to do a good job. This is the first cabin air filter change for my 2016 Odyssey, and it really needed it. Amazing how much stuff makes it that far. I’ll be watching airflow to be sure the filter isn’t restricting it, and I agree that it should be changed at least every 12 months depending on driving frequency and conditions. It is too easy and quick not to do this.
