For those situations - or to simplify your life later and update your bedroom set - we offer our split king, solid wood foundation. Two pieces and nine inches thick. This particular set comes with MANY of the mattresses we have sold for a decade! Quite neutral in color, as well. (as pictured). ***Our split foundations are SOLID WOOD (no actual spring inside - newer designs in box "springs" don't include springs, for the most part.***
