I purchased this as a gift for my wife. It looked just right for what we needed.However when we opened it, it was not what we expected. The description does say oval, but the photo makes it appear almost round. In real life the width is half, maybe less, of the length. I went back and looked at the photo and tried to imagine how you could hold it just right to make it look as big as the photo. I don't think it's possible, and the photo is of another bowl.Overall the bowl was very nice. If we were looking for something of that shaped, we'd probably have kept it.We did get a refund. At first a partial refund, but when I questioned it, they right away sent another refund to cover the full amount.
