Mines fitted to 1/2" pipes. **Q: is the shower hose removable to store or does it always have to be attached?** A: Not sure. Since installed, we never tried to remove it. I'm sure you could. All because it has steal inserts for the mounting nuts, which completely failed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bargain price for a quality product *by K***N on 1 February 2016* Have been looking for one with the wall mount fittings for a while, I needed one that would fit to the pre-existing fitting on my bath as I previously bought one as part of a set that fitted direct to the bath. Turns out there's no room to change it over with my bath without completely taking the bath out. As I had already changed the tap to a waterfall one similar it made sense to find one the same. When I saw this product it fit the bill perfectly, with its similar design to the tap and the fact it did for the previous fittings, it was easy to change over as I was able to do it myself and the mixer shower fitting is perfect for washing the dog(which is the reason I decided to change the taps in the first place) great product and would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this but have only seen the ridiculously overpriced one in the shops.
