I highly recommend this brand of CM. For the record, CM doesn't directly increase muscle growth, rather, it enhances your stamina and recovery so you can train longer, harder and recover more quickly between sets and after a hard training session without soreness. You still need to do the usual like maintain a proper protein diet and get lots of sleep.The taste is extremely tart or equivalent to eating dried grounded, lime peels. You can mix it with almost any beverage, but I train fasted so I just guzzle it straight. It may tie up your stomach rarely, but I found an additional glass of water will help move things along. Its also a great vasodilator --- if your interested that side-effect -- which is part of how it works. How much it shows depends on your leanness, but mostly your genetics.As for pumps, I don't notice it that much, but the effect differ greatly from person to person. Again, its a genetics thing since some people claim enhanced pumps from creatine, which I don't get. I've experiment with ratios (L-citrulline, 1:1) and 2:1 works best. You actually need the combo malate (malic acid) for it to work.The recommended dose is 6-8 gms, but I've had no issues using up to 16gms -- which is the point of diminishing return for me. That is, it doesn't work any better after that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product *by on Reviewed in the United States May 4, 2011* I take this along with Beta-Alanine pre workout on both my weight training days and my road training (cycling). As for value if taking their recommended dose 2 grams (2 scoops) this will last 100 days. I would consider this pretty good when compared to other sports nutrition products, which more often than not requires you to repurchase every couple months. As for taste, if mixed with just water, a very tart lemonade comes to mind, i personally like it. I have also mixed it with orange juice with similar results. As for its effectiveness, to put it very simply, workout "burn" is significantly mitigated when taking this product. There are plenty of sources online that can elaborate on this biological action. I wont go on a long training ride without first taking this as its ability to buffer lactic acid greatly increases my hill climbing stamina. Note this is not going to make you superman but along with a solid training program and sound nutrition this will be a nice compliment to your regime. Finally i would like to add that there is no noticeable immediate side effects when taking this product. I cant comment on long term effects but you will not feel as if you "took something", when dosing this. Great product i will be purchasing this again.
