Insect Lore Butterfly Farm | Butterfly Kit with Live Cup of 5 Caterpillars

My grandson had a blast watching them as they progressed and transformed. Great alternative to toys and goid learning oputunity. Worked just as described eventhough we didn't open until a few days after receiving it.

This was so fun, my grandson loved taking care of the butterfly's. When we let them go he was a little sad. I I would definitely tell everybody to buy this.It was so.

1 caterpillar came dead. The rest survived and we got to watch the life cycle. My daughter loved the butterflies and watching them grow. I recommend! I would do this again.

I received items. All the caterpillars were not moving. I waited over the standard days to see if they would start to move. They were dead. I followed the next steps to contact customer server and provided pictures to show they were dead. No response. After 2 more weeks I emailed support again. They wanted pictures again. Well, I have since deleted them and threw the dead bugs out. They will not look for the previous email nor provide new caterpillars. There are better companies to use to get caterpillars from. I've never had them not moving when they arrive from other companies either. I would return everything else, but the enclourse and other accessories it comes with are nice.

This was an absolute hit with not only my toddlers, but my 11 year old as well. We loved watching and discussing the stages of caterpillars and releasing them when they were ready to go. I was able to toss the habitat into my washing machine on a gentle cycle and let it air dry to clean it. I would suggest putting a paper towel on the bottom of the habitat to help minimize the mess!

Only 4 Caterpillar survived the trip. The nets really small. I was expecting bigger. I also was expecting for the feeding tray and log to be a harder plastic and it’s not. It’s a plastic cheap material. They came fast . I think a little pricy for the side of net and cheap product but 4 caterpillars are growing. I’m not going to give it below 4 stars because my daughter loves the journal she’s drawing and documenting in daily.

perfect gift for kids AND adults! so easy to use and such a rewarding beatiful science experience

The absolute best! I used this in my home with my children as well as in my classroom during the spring. It comes with everything you need to take care of the caterpillars all the way up until they become butterflies. Such a fun and engaging educational tool and loved getting to watch the life cycle up close.
