Crosman 241 Pellgunoil Air Gun Lubricating Oil (1/4 Ounces)

You can't beat the original. ;-) I'm sure much cheaper alternatives are available, but I've been using this for so many years I'm just not interested in changing to something else. It works, it works well and it's cheap at under five bucks a tube. It doesn't hurt that a tube typically lasts for years either. After all, even in a large collection of variable pumpers, a liberal application of this might be three drops, so a tube will take care of six or seven airguns for ages -- it's not like four bucks every couple of years is gonna break the bank or anything (even if it seems to go up about one dollar every year). Play it safe, get the good stuff from Crosman, but make sure it IS the right oil: use with what your manual recommends and double check! Manuals should not just be thrown in the trash. Not even all Crosman pumpers use Pellgunoil, as evidenced by the Crosman 1000 Legacy air rifle, so again, double check. Highly recommended.

I use this to lubricate the seals on my pnuematic airguns when the gun manufacturer specifically mentions to use this. Works great. If the manufacturer isn't specific, I use this or 30 weight non-detergent motor oil.
