It actually works
I researched diet cat food a lot before I chose one. I know this is one the vets recommend and based on his profile, he is a loud begger for food, I chose this one. I am very pleased because I was worried he wouldnโt like it but he loved it and he is losing weight! I also add a tiny bit of water to his wet food which he gets a little of each day as well. Hes lost a few ounces and is becoming a better acrobat. When he jumps in the air when heโs playing he can now twist a lot better. Iโm happy it will be good for his joints as well with having less weight in them. Anyhow I highly recommend this. I was afraid Iโd be wasting my money but it was a huge success.

Better price than in pet store
I have very large rescue cat who is on a weight-loss program. I'm glad that this one does not fall under prescription status. You MUST read calorie content of cat food. 1 cup of dry food can range 300 calories to 450 calories. A cat requires 20 calories per target weight! This dry cat food is 254 cals per cup. I ordered a 14 lb bag, still pricer than commercial brands, but it lasts 2.5 months. As he gets closer to his goal, I can mix it with another brand. You cannot tell that he has lost weight because he is ALL floof!

Expensive but worth it
I have a cat that is hungry 24 seven. I donโt like to feed him too much but I know heโs always hungry. Heโs a very large cat so I do give him this dry food once a day and he loves it so much that he knocks over the canister I have it in to ask me for more. I cannot tell you how it taste obviously, but you would think something that was weight management would not taste good. He likes this better than any dry food that I have given him and I donโt have to worry about it adding weight to him. In addition, I do load this in my automatic feeder when I go away for one or two days and both my catseat all of the portions I a lot for them in the automatic feeder. It does come in a larger bag, but I bought this because itโs easier to handle as I am a senior citizen. Itโs also a good bag to buy you want to try it before investing in the bigger bag.

A Healthy Choice That My Cats Actually Enjoy
Finding a weight management food that cats will actually eat can be a real challenge, but this Royal Canin Weight Care formula has been a total hit in my household. My cats absolutely love it. Often, "diet" food implies a sacrifice in flavor, but they took to this immediately and finish their bowls every time without hesitation. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are getting the specialized nutrition they need to maintain a healthy weight without me having to force them to eat something bland. If you are looking for a way to manage your cats' weight without compromising on taste, this is definitely a winner.

Good for a chunky kitty :)
My cat has been eating this food for quite a while now after our vet recommended switching to a lower-calorie diet because she was overweight. Iโm happy to say itโs been a great success. She really enjoys the food, has had no digestive issues, and has been doing well on it. One unexpected bonus is that it doesnโt have the strong smell that many cat foods do, which I really appreciate. Overall, Iโm very happy with this food and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a lower-calorie option for their cat.

Both cats lost weight, both really liked it, expensive
Cat 1: โ12 years old โalways free-fed โno weight issues โ8 lbs. (historical baseline ~6.8 lbs.; she gained some weight after she recovered from an accident and two surgeries) โ5 weeks in: 7.6 lbs. โ8 weeks in: 7.4 lbs. โ10 weeks in: weight stable Cat 2: โ~4 years old โwill eat every chance she gets โ15.4 lbs. baseline โ5 weeks: 14.6 lbs. โ8 weeks: 14 lbs. โ10 weeks: 14.4 lbs. Both cats were free-fed diet cat food for slightly over 10 weeks. (I know, ideally I would have separated them and measured their food individuallyโฆ) Both cats really liked the cat food (I think more than their normal Meow Mix), and both cats lost weight. Each bag of food lasted about a month. My only negative is that this is incredibly expensive.

Great weight loss cat dry food
My cat is very fussy on food but she is over weight. I tried a few light kibble foods but she did not like them. Weight care from Royal Canin changed that. She loves it and she also likes their weight care canned food. Highly recommended!
