What a surprise
Worked really well along side a electric knife. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked .

It works but no adjustments.
It works somewhat. I wish you could adjust the gap between the prongs and guide to the a thinker layer cappings. The prongs It keep getting plugged so best to keep a give tool handy to scrape the wax buildup.

Easiest of any decapping tool I tried.
This worked better than the decapping knife, or the rake that I purchased. Those were helpful for the deep edges, or cleaning the wax of this decapping fork, but they were not as easy and effective as this tool was.

Works better than I expected.
It is sturdy and well balanced. It caps the comb without going too deep. I am very please at the value of the product.

Great idea
Thought these were going to be awesome - with operator error - not so great … it has to be perfectly straight and hard to get the edges uncapped … was a great idea and maybe for someone that is used to doing it would work better

Good Sturdy Tool
The tool is good and sturdy--just as described. It was also delivered quickly. However, I ended up preferring to use an uncapping fork. This tool was too wide for uneven combs--it removed too much honey with the wax for the higher areas. However, it was more efficient than the heated knives I have used previously. It does removes the wax capping quicker than the uncapping fork, and does not push the wax into the cell like an uncapping roller, so it is a good tool to have to use for those even frames.

Slick little decapper tool that works! Replaces the hot decappers!
I was skeptical when I saw the demonstration video but it does work really well. Keep in mind, the videos all use smooth even drawn comb so if your tool doesn't get every cap, you are either holding it wrong or the comb isn't drawn out uniformly. Also, you may need to clean it between frames, the cooler your honey is, the more you will need to clean it.What I like most is the tool totally replaces the hot decapper/knife so no need to worry about burnt honey tainting your product. Some will say the heaters decappers are not enough to darken honey but I don't believe it. Any burnt, is bad burnt!! People love my honey for it!This is the tool I will use from here out. I plan on getting another one in case I want to hire some help.I will upload a video when I think of it.
