I REALLY wanted to get a metal detector to take to the beach and parks but I didnt want to drop hundreds on a possible hobby I might not enjoy. This was the perfect price point and we used it this weekend and it was so much fun at the beach! Didn't find any buried treasure but cant wait to go out again.

I got this for my 7 year old son to have a little fun with. The price was great and showed up at my door in two days. Yay, Amazon! It came in about 4 pieces and went together super easy with the guidance of the instruction manual. It does use two 9V batteries, wryarning use two 9v so you can be ready as I was not at first HA! This came with a very nice carrying case and also a small foldable shovel that also has its own patch. My son says it makes him feel like a true treasure hunter. Overall, it seems to be very easy for a 7 year old to use and understand when it’s over a metal object and when it’s searching. So far we have found only 2 rusty nails and a beer cap but it’s been fun!

We ordered this metal detector in hopes of finding our lost car keys. We lost a set in a blizzard a few months ago. It was super easy to set up and we ended up finding the keys in about 40 minutes, saving us almost $700 getting new keys made. Just waiting for it to warm up more so we can take it to the beach and find some treasures.

 I bought this for my husband and it is a great starter metal detector. He is having fun "treasure" hunting. Used this at the playground to look for a lost earring, no luck. However, he found some miscellaneous metals the we plan to scrap. I took a little video so you can hear the sound it makes. The detector is finding a cable running under the grass.

This is a great metal detector for the price. Every summer, we see people with them at the beach, and my kids always want one. This year, I decided to surprise them. This was super easy to put together, and it is very easy to use. Size is perfect, easy enough for the kids to carry, and simple to adjust the length so I can use it. We've been around the yard and found a bunch of nails. I love that it came with a carry bag and shovels. It's waterproof, so we can look in shallow water areas. Looking forward to a trip to the beach!

Great metal detector for the price. Bought for my kids so we have other activities while we go camping or day trips. Works as expected with no issues. Dit take a bit to figure out all the functions. But when we did, pretty easy to use. It’s really nice that you can adjust the length. That was a key point of getting this model. Also the water proof sensor is a big plus. So now we will be able to explore places that we couldn’t before. It’s comfortable to hold and work with

I am beyond pleased with this purchase! My son wanted a metal detector to find treasures so after researching several I chose this one. The price is great and it has already gotten hours of use! I can’t lie that both my husband and myself have fun using it too! It’s easy to use and read and seems pretty accurate. I think my son has found a total of $3 so far at the park! He will soon be able to pay this off! Lol
