TJUTR Mens Photochromic Sunglasses Day & Night Driving Z87 Safety Glasses

The lenses work very well, going from light indoors to dark outside. The frame is lightweight and comfortable. The lenses are fragile, mine cracked at a corner after a few months, but I liked them so I purchased another pair of the same.

The lenses are very clear, and the frame is lightweight but strong.

I wanted metal framed, shatter resistant, photochromic glasses to use for cycling. These have met or exceeded my expectations. They are light and comfortable. Colors and contrast are sharp. In regard to the photochromic capability, the lenses are smoky gray at baseline. They do darken in bright sunlight, but the change is not as dramatic as some glasses I've had in the past. Some reviewers rave about them for driving, but sunlight passing through glass will not activate photochromic lenses. These are already slightly darkened which could explain the perceived benefit. Mine are labeled Z87 on one of the lenses and on one of the temples despite complaints of the lack of labeling by some reviewers. Given the A B and C designations, I do think it would be easy to click on an attractive frame and inadvertently order glasses other than the intended ones. I have taken 1 star away from my initial review because I think my initial impression that the lenses darken in bright sunlight was over generous. The photochromic effect is minimal if it occurs at all. As sunglasses these meet my needs, but they remain much too dark to be useful at night.

It doesn't darken in the Sun as much as advertised. Then when it does and you walk inside it doesn't clear as fast as advertised.

Look, it's a nice pair of safety glasses, but I purchased these specifically because they claimed to be Photochromatic, or "transition lenses"... that is 100% false. There is zero transition feature, and they function as lightly shaded sunglasses. Buyer beware.

Very comfortable glasses. They keep the sun out of my eyes and the glare down as well. Great for driving.

Inexpensive, looks good, and turns darker in the sun. Bought a pair back in 2022, and it was time for a replacement. The new pair seems to turn darker even faster. Doesn't come with a case, but the price is cheap so I still think it's a great deal.

They fit nice and are good for safety glasses but don't expect to wear them to turn dark when in sun light for driving they suck ! They don't turn dark enough !

these sun glasses do not meet the advertising this company posts. they do not act like photochromic glasses and as the saying goes you only get what you pay for! so these are just like any other cheap sun glasses you would buy at a gas station.
