Review: Excellent fabric paints-colors received might not be same - These are excellent fabric paints. The colors are bright and vibrant, they can be watered down as much as desired, or used out of the bottle as-is, depending on the depth of color desired. They don't change the hand of the fabric unless several layers are placed at higher densities. I can't speak to the permanence of the colors on fabric, because I haven't washed anything more than once yet, but they did well in their first washing, and get high ratings on other sites for their permanence. Any paint on fabric will, over time, abrade in places just from ordinary wear and tear on the item, so long-term permanence depends on what's painted. I'm using them on applique quilts, but have also made some background fabric (skies) with them, now. Be aware that the colors listed might not be the colors received. When I ordered these for a class, the colors listed were titanium white, ultramarine blue, buttercup, emerald, lemon yellow, black, oriental red, vermilion, parma violet and cobalt blue. The colors I received were emerald, lemon yellow, black, parma violet, cobalt blue, moss green, fawn, fuchsia, turquoise and cardinal red. After a few internet searches, I think the difference between what colors were listed in the set and what colors I received was a change in what the manufacturer includes in the color selection for the set, now. It appears the colors listed were the old version of the set, and what I received was the new version of the set. Unfortunately, I needed four of the colors in the old version for a specific class project. Per desertcart, they will be changing the listing to reflect the colors now in the set, but as of this writing they haven't yet done so. I've no idea if their stock contains both sets or not. I'm sure I'll use all of the paints I received, on other projects, I just had to order individual bottles of the other colors I needed from another source for the class project. I've found the paints very easy to use, easy cleanup, and I could not be happier with the results on fabric. **Q: Has anyone used this successfully for sun painting?**
A: I haven't tried sun painting, primarily because where we live there's a very great chance the item would end up with little squirrel footprints all over it. I have, however, watched several YouTube videos of others trying sun painting with them, and those videos seemed to show good results. The brighter and more direct the sun, the better. You might want to do a YouTube search to check out the videos.

**Q: I want to use thetransparent paint (Light Fabrics) to color a parachute in bright splashes of color.  Its 26' wide - any idea how much paint I'll need**
A: This set of colors are rather small bottles. IF your project is 26 inches, you will have enough. IF your project is 26 feet, you will need several (many) of these sets. I have only used them on small projects, so I really can not tell you how much you will need.  I think they are also available in larger bottles.

**Q: I'm having a party where we're painting tote bags. Anyone know how much paint I should buy for 20 tote bags?**
A: These paints are diluted with water. A few drops in a container and a few tablespoons of water will paint an area of about 9 x 12 inches. Not sure how big your totes are but the assortment pack of colors will be more than adequate. Use these same paints for solar painting. Great paint for scarves and clothes (you can buy ready made items from Dharma Trading Co).

**Q: do you send these fabric paint to México?**
A: We do not ship Amazon orders internationally.

These are excellent fabric paints. The colors are bright and vibrant, they can be watered down as much as desired, or used out of the bottle as-is, depending on the depth of color desired.
