Baby Calms

My toddler sleeps like a newborn, seriously, he wakes up 2-3 times a night on average, and either screams until I come in his room OR occasionally wanders the house screaming until someone wakes up. Then it can take up to an hour to get him settled back into bed asleep. That was until last night when I tried these calming tablets for the first time! He fell asleep around 8pm, only had one wake up at 3am but was quickly back asleep after a few pats on the back, and stayed asleep until after 6am. Best sleep he’s ever gotten which resulted in the best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time! I was skeptical at first that it would be ineffective and always very nervous to give the little guy any kind of medicine - but this worked wonders!

What everyone seems to have failed to tell me when becoming a father is how frequently babies wake up in the middle of the night from being hungry, pooping, working her arms out and punching herself in the face, or just for the fun of it. My sleep patterns have been WAY off the past few months & I've been trying everything to knock our baby out at night in a legal and humane way. In comes a friend who recommends Hyland's Calming Tablets... They first gave us teething tablets which seemed to help a lot on the teething front... but the calming tablets work miracles at night. When baby starts punching herself in the head (because that's what babies like to do in their dreams) I give her some of these natural calming tablets and the results are pretty quick... What used to be 30 minutes of me swing and rocking her back and forth - has become popping some pills into her mouth and bouncing her for a couple mins and then BAM! She's out cold. Put her down in the crib, and pray that she will not poop for another hour. Extremely useful if you aren't getting a lot of sleep at night due to the baby! Highly recommend these.

When my children were babies, someone told me about these tablets. Now my daughter has babies, and she uses them! So, for many years we have used this lifesaver for fussy babies that are teething! Make sure you follow the instructions and give as instructed because your baby will be irritable if not given regularly. I highly recommend Hylands and suggest you keep a stock of these on hand! My son just turned one and going through a “leap” (for those of you who have the Wonder Weeks app). And he was in distress from teething and then in his leap where his awareness is expanding so extra fussy. He’s not typically a fussy baby but this combo has thrown us a curve ball. I found Camilla teething meds that helped a lot. Then I found this stuff to really support that. My son is in the 93rd percentile for his age so he’s a big boy.. If he’s having a really tough time I give him 2-3 tablets (that he LOVES) and I do notice a difference in his demeanor. Very calming and taking an edge off for him. Don’t expect it to work as a sleeping inducer. Though, it can definitely help that process. It’s meant to just calm them. Also helping his separation anxiety he just started 3 weeks ago. It does support sleeping though when they do go down for a nap or bed. My sleep was STRUGGLING the past 2 weeks especially after traveling in different time zones and this helped us both get sleep as well as it’s helping me to get him back on schedule. Only using it when necessary so he doesn’t build a tolerance. My son also gets hyper from lavender or any sleepy time essential oil blends, which I’ve seen online isn’t completely unheard of. So this is a life saver. He responds best to chamomile, which is in this product. Also keep in mind, there’s Lactose in this product. If you think/know they’re intolerant, definitely avoid. I thought my son was but I used “5 Strands” hair testing (here on Amazon) and found out it was just goats milk for him, not all dairy. Then I saw some people say their baby spit up from this. My son did the first time I gave it to him a little.. then hasn’t since.

We use homeopathy exclusively in our home because it WORKS. You read that right - no Tylenol or Motrin or even antibiotics needed here because of the gift of homeopathy. These calming tablets are no exception. They contain some truly amazing remedies that work to rebalance our fussy child and allow for a calm night of sleep. We were disappointed when Hyland’s felt pressured to discontinue their teething tablets but we’ve used these ever since. We even prefer them to the oral pain tablets. If they didn’t work for you it’s because the remedy didn’t match!

They work great for all 3 of my children. Never had to give more than the initial dose. I've read other reviews and baffled on why other parents are complaining that these didn't help with a teething baby. This isn't necessarily for teething, just to help with the fussiness. The teething tablets work wonders for a teething baby. I've used those on all 3 as well. As for the FDA warning, of you actually read it, it's dangerous if you don't follow the directions and over dose your child. As with ANY type of medicine, you always need to be careful with any dosage. Coming from a stay at home mom, all comes from experience and research. Nothing more and not being a stand in for a doctor. 😊
