Rubies DC Comics Superman Toddler Costume for Themed Parties and Halloween

Loved this costume and it worked for my kids very well. True to size and the material is ok.

I bought this costume in toddler size for my 2 1/2 year old son. He is probably average in size and the costume fits him without being too big or too small. We went to a Halloween party and I was able to fit jogging pants and a long sleeve tee under it without it being too tight. It seems the fabric has a little stretch to it.To say my son loves this costume is an understatement. He wears the cape and belt every day, all day, taking it off only for nap and bedtime. It looks like the cape is attached to the costume from the picture but isn't. It clasps together in the front with velcro. My only issue with the costume is the belt. The first time he wore the costume the belt started to fall apart. The belt has a front piece that is sewn to a piece of fabric on each side and they tie in the back. The fabric is barely held on with a piece of thread. After I sewed it back on, it was fine. No big deal really for the use it is getting. I recommend this costume.

I was concerned about how this costume would look since it didn’t have the build in muscles I was looking for, but OMG my son looked amazing and cute in it!! It fit perfectly! My 3 year old is a bit wide in the chest area anyway and made it look great! I love the way the legs looked tapered yet cool and perfect!My son loves wearing it! It doesn’t even matter it does not come with a mask! He was happy with the cape. I’m guessing it didn’t come with one because some toddlers like mine don’t like things covering the face it can be scary.I liked that the costume that fit just right to size but if you want more room I would say a size bigger. I thought it looking tight made it cute. My son also had pj leggings and a long sleeve under it. But every parent and child feels different. At the end of the day we were all happy with it and it didn’t need the build in muscle because the size as well as the costume made it look great! We got the 3T

my son is 2, weighs about 35 pounds, got him the toddler sizes, fits him just right, a little baggy not tight fitting but still looks great!

My son loves this! The material is thin and durable. Perfect for a toddler boy who is always running hot.

My 2.5 year old has recently become obsessed with superheroes, and Superman is his favorite at the moment. He'd been asking for a Superman costume/outfit for several weeks, so I did a little looking and decided to go with this one. My son is ~35" tall and this fits him PERFECTLY. He was absolutely thrilled. The belt goes on separately, which he loved too. Maybe because he can see Superman's belt in his storybooks. The cape fastens around the neck with velcro. This is the only aspect of the costume that I would change. The velcro fastener lies up against his neck, which is apparently quite uncomfortable for him (but possibly wouldn't bother other kids.) I get around this issue by simply using safety pins to attach the cape to his shoulders. Easy peasy. The material is synthetic, and while not soft, exactly, is very comfortable right up next to my son's skin. He only wears his diaper under it. This item arrived last Friday, I think...and it's now Thursday a week later. He's worn it every day and it's holding up pretty well. I've washed it 1x (hand washed, as recommended) and it cleaned up like a breeze. I was a little worried bc there were several large stains on the legs that I couldn't identify, but they came right out. This is not a super high end costume...but I think it's really really well done for the cost. I would absolutely buy it again (and may well have to do so if my son keeps insisting on wearing it every day!) Also, one other cool element of the costume is that the foot part covers the top of you kid's shoes, so Superman's "boots" are intact for your little Superman wanna-be. Highly recommend.

Material is polyester no cotton very thin and cheap material that IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL. My son complained about the itchy, said that bothers him and wanted to take it off. Durability is won't last a wash in the washer machine. The belt it's super cheap just a joke. Zero comfort. Costumes NOT like the picture. Size looks like in the hands need more cover. Really difficult if baby want to go to bathroom. Sorry but will be returning this cheap worthless costume just wow not the same as the photo.

My grandson absolutely loved his Superman outfit!! In fact when he comes home from school, that’s what he changes into!’
