Good product and good service

This infrared thermometer is very easy to use and I found it to be very accurate. I compared it with other thermometers that I have around my home and I found the temp, measured in F, to be within one degree difference. It was often spot on. I am also pleased that when I point it at something to get a temperature, it makes a couple of clear beep noises when it has the temperature. It locks in the temperature reading on it's easy to read screen, and then it shuts itself off about 20 seconds later. I like that I can also shut off the laser. I do this when I am taking the temperature of something big, like a wall, where I don't need to verify that I'm on target. I do this to protect my eyes from reflected laser beam and to conserve battery power. It's important to note that its easy to load the batteries and then, its ready to go, right out of the box. I am very pleased with it's accuracy, ease of use, and low cost.

I've have an old one (different brand) that lasted for years. It still works great but the trigger sticks so bought this one. At first I didn't like it as much as the old one but it's proven itself to be very accurate and reliable. It's as good or better than the old one. I've used it several times a day for about a year. This is one of the most useful tools I have. I use it mostly in the kitchen for cooking or to check temperatures of surfaces. e.g. how hot is my car's windshield? Do I need to take the dash cam down so it doesn't get too hot??? It's also good for mechanics to measure temperature of engine components or bearings that may be overheating.

Easy operation. Seems to be accurate. Battery lasts awhile.
