Our 425 Paracord is a great alternative if you feel that the diameter of the 550 Paracord is too thick for your crafted projects, storing in your go bag, or your general utility use. The 425 Paracord shares many features similar to 550 Paracord, with the differences that it only has a 425 pound breaking point for tensile strength, only three 2-ply inner core strands, and at less the price of 550 Paracord. With so many possibilities for use, you may not want to find yourself without it.

it appears they messed up one of my orders ether ...
it appears they messed up one of my orders ether the 346-3 or the 425-3. The 346-3 is bigger than the 425-3 and it should be smaller. I got what I wanted but backwards I believe. There labeling and listings need to be clarified. Now when I need one of the other I dont know what to order.PSthey were ordered a week apart so it was just luck I got what I wanted. I didn't realize the first order was wrong until I received the 2nd order. When the first (346-3) showed up i thought it was big but wasn't sure. My suspicion came from the larger than expected size difference between the 225-5 and and 346-3.

the Happy Pie rotating shaft
We have an IKEA swing installed in our basement. The hanging implements from IKEA did not allow for circular rotation without twisting the swing fabric. Also, it was not detachable... once it was up, there was no way to take down the swing if we needed the space temporarily for something else. I used a combination of paracord, the Happy Pie rotating shaft, and a heavy duty carribeaner to make the swing both rotatable and removable. It has worked like a dream! I was impressed specifically with how thin the cord was for its durability and strength.

Bought in different size in same color but it was a different cord
Hi, I originally bought the gold paracord in 10 feet. What I got in the mail was perfect. When I bought it again but 25 feet instead, the color was slightly different and so was the texture of the cord. It was thicker and less pliable than the first one. I use the cord for jewelry making and was disappointed they weren't the same. Other than that the cord is fine.

Disappointed in this Paracord Planet product
Until now I have been very happy with Paracord Planet, having purchased from them several times. This time however there was a section of about 12 inches where the sheath was kinked, and about half of the remainder of the 50' hank is flattened and twisted. This is mainly an issue because I need to use the full 50' as one piece, the strength of the cord must surely be compromised, not 1st quality cord at all.

As advertised
A bit short than 100 foot. I plan to make 3 of 33' rope for each of my kids' daypack. I only made 2 of 33' and the last one is 4' shorter. Have not tested the strength yet but I am hoping it will be just fine

Inferior product
This paracord is advertised as 550 . I haven’t tested the strength but the diameter is very thin compared to other 550 and is flimsiest cord I’ve purchased. Not something I would buy again. Terrible quality.
