Nice Product
I really like it! First time trying this brand. I use it very lightly over my BB Cream just to smooth everything out and it applies beautifully. You do need to be careful not to put it on too heavy. It's a buildable powder so go light! Coverage is good, the color match is excellent for my fair skin.

Quick application
Natural looking and easy to apply. Can be used with a flat top brush for a full coverage look, or a kabuki for a more natural finish. Love that itโs cruelty free!

Like my skin but better
TLDR, this foundation provides a boost to your natural skin without that foundation feeling. Think your skin but better... less red and more even, zits are less noticable but not invisible, pores exist but aren't highlighted and are slightly "blurred" (Though I highly recommend reading the full review obviously) This review is to help you decide if it's right for you, I'm going to be honest and thorough because I find those reviews most helpful, even if that means sharing unflattering pics lol The pictures include one front facing camera, and the rest are rear facing WITH FLASH so you can see how it sits on skin texture, take. Roughly 4hrs after application. While no one wants to post unflattering pics of themselves, I think it's important to accurately portray how the product works. When looking at me in real life, it looks like the front facing camera shot, but as with any foundation it looks very different under bright unflattering light or when you examine it closely in a mirror. I thought it was important to include both. So onto the review. This is a lightweight, sheer coverage, buildable, powder foundation. Pros - lightweight, as in I literally can't feel it on my skin - buildable - doesn't cling to dry patches - doesn't highlight the large pores near my nose - can be used on it's own, as a setting powder, or even as a foundation with spot coverage using concealer or foundation for a more natural sheer look while still covering "problem" spots. - doesn't get that weird separation in oily areas that can happen with some foundations. - doesn't irritate my sensitive skin - long lasting, still look good at the end of the day - while it's not waterproof, you can go out in the rain or workout without it all coming off Cons (or at least things some might not like) - it's sheer, while buildable you'll never reach full coverage with just this powder. - it's pressed powder, many prefer loose powder as it's more finely milled. I will say this is verrrrry finely milled for a pressed powder though - the shade range isn't fantastic, though if you're pale you're in luck - it's somewhere between a matte and satin. While more "dewy" than most powders, it's still a powder foundation and won't give you that wet glass dewy look For reference, I don't use primer and I did not use foundation or concealer under it for more coverage. I am having a flare up with my skin (hormones, not a reaction to the powder) so I have a few zits and red patches, but I figured this was a good time to make the review so others with these problems can see what kind of coverage to expect. I ordered shade light porcelain as I'm very pale. It's a good match for me, other brands that match well for me for comparison.... Wet n wild photofocus in soft ivory, wet n wild cushion foundation in porcelain, hard candy glamoflauge in vanilla, and I believe I used porcelain in Maybelline fit me.

Ended up loving it
For reference I ordered the color light, I am 31 years old, oily/combo skin, freckles and fair neutral skin. I have both pink and yellow tones in my skin. I took a wild guess ordering the color light and it blends well with my fair skin! I posted a few pictures, sorry the lighting isnโt great but I figured it was better than nothing. My hands are a little red in the pictures because itโs been cold outside. In the picture I am wearing one light layer of this foundation only. I am typically one of the fairest shades in most foundations sold. If you go to the PUR site they have a color matching tool both by matching from another foundation shade you have used (what I used) or also by a virtual try on. I also searched YouTube videos and googled pictures of the shade light to see if it would match. Now on to what I think about the actual foundation. When I first tried on the foundation I must say I wasnโt overly impressed. Like I mentioned I have freckles and I am used to a more full coverage foundation. The coverage is pretty light (on initial try on) and I didnโt think it was doing much at first. Iโm not used to powder foundation. I wanted to try a mineral foundation because Iโve been having hormonal breakouts and I thought it may help. So I gave the foundation another few chances with a different more dense flat top foundation brush and also I put on two layers. I ended up really liking the coverage that way. Iโve used it with and without foundation primer. I like it with the bare minerals primer. When comparing this to bare minerals I like them both. I feel like bare minerals has more coverage with one layer. With the PUR I have to build it up more for coverage, but I donโt have an issue with that. In bare minerals Iโve worn both the shades fairly light and golden fair. This PUR is way more convenient and less messy than bare minerals. It does really well with my oily/combo skin type. It looks natural and overall very flattering. With any powder foundation I have to make sure my peach fuzz on my face is removed. Thatโs just me. I donโt think powder foundation looks flattering on me with peach fuzz on my face. All it takes is a little nair, no big deal. I am a mom of toddlers and this powder foundation is fast and easy when you get the hang of it. I love the idea of mineral foundation. I have noticed my skin has gotten better since wearing it every day in comparison to heavy liquid foundation. If coverage is what you are after I would suggest a dense flat top foundation brush or beauty sponge. Real techniques makes a great powder foundation sponge that I love and it gives great coverage with this foundation. I never thought I would be converted to mineral powder foundation after using liquid for so long but I absolutely love it. It feels so light and nice on your skin in comparison to heavy liquid. It also looks natural. I would describe the finish as a natural semi-matte or stain finish. Itโs not overly matte and flat. It doesnโt make my skin oily which is a big thing for me because I have an oily t-zone. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because I feel like this foundation claims to have great coverage, but in actuality you have to build it up to get more full coverage. My favorite thing about this foundation is I can throw it in my bag if Iโm running late along with a powder brush and throw it on in the car really easily. This is essential for me as a busy mom! Most days I put this foundation on that way and hardly even look in the mirror at what Iโm doing. Lol!

Great product
Does an excellent job of covering darker covered patch on my nose. Very natural appearance after years of being self conscious about it.

Not a dupe for higher end brands but good
Good color payoff but I did purchase it hoping it would not settle oddly on my 43 year old skin and it didn't look great on me. That being said, all skin types are different. It didn't break me out and the color is nice. Not orangey at all.

Great product
Have tried other powders for older skin. This one is still my favorite. No break outs, smooth and long coverage.

I Never Had Brand Loyalty Before Pur Minerals!
When it came to makeup, for a very long time I would try lots of different products. I have Irish coloring (red and white) and have often had difficulty matching my skin color with the product names. I have spent a lot of money on products that didn't work, that I couldn't apply, that were too complicated or were ridiculously expensive. I had heard a lot about mineral makeup and decided to take the plunge... deep into my wallet.... and try it. The day I went to Ulta, there was someone who was teaching people how to apply the Pur Minerals system (primer, 4 in 1 powder, bronzer, blusher, and lip gloss). He selected the "light" foundation color for me and green primer, which tones down the redness... I loved how it looked-- and it was quite simple-- so I bought everything he said I needed. To the tune of about 125 bucks. But, I have to say, it was worth every single penny. The 4 in 1 Pressed Foundation includes SPF 15, concealer, foundation color, and I guess the 4th thing is pressed finishing powder? My routine is easy enough that I can do it in about 10 minutes. After I quickly apply primer, I load the kabuki-style brush by swirling it in the compact. I then make small circles all over my face to get good, even coverage. I then load the bronzer onto the same brush and apply in the hollow below both cheek bones and lightly sweep across my jaw line and at my hair line. I then load that same brush with a small amount of blush and dust the apple of my cheeks. I top it off with a Pur Minerals rose lip gloss that I love. Add a little eyeliner and neutral eye shadow and I am done! If it took longer, I wouldn't do it! The compact is a little expensive, but I've been using my current one since January (6 months) and it still has quite a bit of life left in it. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that a new brush should be included in the purchase price for the powders. It seems ridiculous to have to pay another 20 dollars for the appropriate applicator. Luckily, my Pur brush has put up with almost daily applications for all three products, and is going strong. I wash with a mild shampoo every 3 months or so, and rinse it thoroughly then let it air dry. The SPF 15 works pretty well, though I wouldn't depend on that solely if I was going to spend an extended period of time outdoors. I've been using these products for about 2.5 years, in that time, I've only purchased 3 primers and maybe 5 compacts and two each of the blush and bronzer (from starter kits) and lip gloss. I apply the products almost every day and am not a heavy makeup person, so that should give a good idea of how long-lasting the products are. They also make a "starter kit" where you can get smaller sizes of the main products and the brush (no lip gloss). They last 4 to 8 months (4 in 1 about 4 months, the blusher and bronzer 8+ months). I'm hooked on Pur!

Best compressed foundation powder
Had read great reviews for this 4 in 1 compressed foundation cum concealer cum compact with spf. This compact is made of total organic and natural ingredients and it is safe for skin. This can b used by any skin types and gives good coverage light to medium. This can be just used as daily compact too because it does not make skin dry or flaky at all. This can hide mild pimples ,marks etc but wouldnโt hide like other actual concealers. Also having spf means no need for sunscreen when applying this. The only thing lacking is not providing compact sponge to apply this product. Product bit expensive as imported but worth using if you are fan of natural products. Need to match shade well before purchasing to get good Matt look .
