Disappointed at this lack of quality control.Original review: This product is exactly what I was after - a nutrious blend that I could add to foods as diverse yogurt, oatmeal, stir-fries, and chicken salads. Arrives promptly and in good condition. One small complaint: the ingredients listed in the Amazon desciption are in a very different order than the packaging - although the ad lists the nutrient-dense items first (like flaxseed, hemp, pumpkin, etc) in reality, the proportion, as indicated by the label ingredient list, are exactly the opposite (the volumnimous, sugerary foods, like raisins and cranberries, appear to be the major items). However, otherwise all good and I would order this again.Edit: I forgot to emphasize just how excellent the stuff is in oatmeal. I make Bob's red Mill quick cooking steel cut oatmeal, which takes about 10 minutes to cook. At the start of cooking, I add a pinch of cinnamon, a tablespoon of brown sugar, pinch of salt, and 3 heaping tablespoons of the Gerbs mix per cup of uncooked oatmeal. Sometimes I add a few extra raisins. The result is easily the most complex and satisfying oatmeal I've ever had, with great chew and a satisfying nutty flavor. Try it!

I have really been enjoying these seeds to increase fillingness in the foods I'm eating. In an effort to create a weight that makes me feel better (and feel like I look better), I've started making small changes to my daily diet. Part of that is in trying not to eat until I'm stuffed. I want a plan that doesn't require dieting as a temporary measure but instead changes my eating habits to healthy habits for life. Now that I've noticed how much more filling foods are by adding seeds and nuts, it has become one of the more pleasant changes in my dietary lineup, For this seed mix, I started by using it as a salad topping, and today I threw a handful into my hot oatmeal. The balance to the mix creates a nice flavor and crunch, and now I'm looking for more things to which I can add the mix. Because it's made in the USA, I'm happy to support the company and plan to shop for more products from their Amazon selection.

Nowhere in reading this that I see that there was a prop 65 warning. It states that it is non-GMO and all of these other lovely things but when I received my package it states prop 65 (Proposition 65 businesses warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment.) I don't know if I'm just ignorant 2 what this really means but I believe this to be false advertising.

This is a mix I'm going to be buying a lot of in the future. As I learn more and more about good nutrition, the addition of nuts, seeds, fruits and superfoods are showing up more in my diet. This is a mixture that I've been looking for, for a very long time. It adds just the right touch to my healthy salads. All the ingredients taste wonderful. The bag has a zip top, which works well and keeps the mix fresh. This was my second bag, and so far I see consistent good quality all throughout.What you get: Raw Pumpkin seeds (pepitos), Sunflower seeds, Chia seeds, Hemp seeds, Flax Seeds, Dried Blueberries, dried Cranberries, and Raisins; GMO free, non-allergenic. I don't know if they are all organically grown. You would probably have to track down the 1-800 number and ask them yourself. But what is there is tasty, and meets my needs exactly. I'm very pleased with this mix.I am also pleased to support a small family run business.

I have purchased from GERBS several times before and have not had issues but my latest delivery of currants, banana chips, goji berries, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds tasted off, like old musty cardboard and strangely ALL BAGS TASTED THE SAME. Bland bla cardboard. The outside of the package label/ nutrition facts are blurred / ink smudged. You can only read the name of the company. All of my bags look like they’ve been sitting in a hot storage room and the berries are smeared to the side of the package. I bought 2 pound bags for my family and around $50+ only to got straight in the garbage. My cherries should be here next week and I’m sure I’ll receive the same old dull musty taste.I’m surprised by the quality of seeds/berries AND packaging, and will try to return them. If not, I’m out $50+. Waste of money and not to mention my kids were really looking forward to these fun snacks.

The package arrived as expected and when expected. It is packaged well with thick plastic and a resealable bag. I was so happy to find nut-free seeds that my child can eat (nut allergy). Love that they are stamped allergen free as many manufacturers shy away from this label, but we need it to ensure her safety. She eats the seeds plain, adds to yogurt, we bake granola bars, and add to cookies and such. I did not find any shells or burnt seeds and few broken seeds- good quality. If you like these, the manufacturer has other seed/fruit combos to choose from.This is a big bag of 2 pounds which lasts for months and the seeds stayed fresh.

I was SO glad to find these the first time some months ago. and teary-eyed when they came to an end. These are amazing, very tasty and American-sourced, so a win-win-win in my book! Plus a great quantity for baking or salad topping. I was very happy to be able to order another batch and delighted by the timely arrival. Just for future reference, however, I was a bit concerned when the large shipping box containing the seeds and two other items sounded like maracas. Sure enough, the bag had come unsealed and about 1/4 of it was loose in the box. I managed to retrieve most of the "runaways," but noticed some on my front porch this morning. Yay for the neighborhood birds! Anyway, I'm sure a very rare problem and NO reason not to order again. Great product!
