Very Pleasing Purchase and Shopping Experience
I am extremely satisfied with this ring light kit. I'm a professional live streamer on Youtube and FB, and just looking for some kit which allow me to do live on different platforms at the same time. I eventually found this, and it was EXACTLY what I wanted! Firstly, it came with a big and good quality package box, kept all the units in safe, I'm very satisfied with that. Of course, all the units included as described, ring light, stand, 3 phone holders, microphone holder and instruction paper. The ring light is about 10 inch in diameter,it's bright, you can adjust the brightness (turn it up and down using the arrows on the cord) it also has 10 different lighting settings from bright to warm and all in between. The stand is about 4.3 ft high, seems very durable and stay very stable. About 3 phone holders, it came well constructed,I don't need to do anything about it, except mount it on the stand pole. I appreciate the company about it, save many of my time, cause I thought I will have to set it up myself.I had that experience ever. The microphone holder is a long gooseneck style, very flexible, it stayed pointed about any way you pointed them. I like it,different from the old one I have, but it's more convenient. Overall, it's a great purchase, I would definitely recommend this item!

Unsalvageable
Cheaply made and rickety. Conflicting attachment placement makes light impossible to use on same stand as camera. Camera mount does not allow for any type of smooth pan or tilt movement. Light drifted down and could not be locked in place. Light did offer 3 settings, but cover popped off the light ring before first use. Poor design and poor execution.

Great value
I bought this for my cousin, she love to do videos on YouTube. She said this is a great value because can fit three phones. Most of them just for one phone. And the lights are very bright.

Good inexpensive social media set...
If you do a search for Ring Lights and tripods, you will find that this B-Land 10" Ring Light with Tripod Stand & 3 Phone Holders & Flexible Clip Microphone Holder for Multicam Live Stream, LED YouTube Lighting Kit Photo Light for Videos & Photography falls in the lower-midrange price range for this kind of kit.The idea is that you are going to be doing social media, like YouTube or Instagram and you want a lighting setup and tripod for your phone to use it as a video camera then this set has everything you need to get started. In SOME ways it does, but in one important way, it falls short.Probably my biggest concern is that there is a lot of confusion about ring lights and how they are supposed to work. People see them on professional setups, so they want them for their inexpensive setups, but don't realize what they are for or how they work.Ring lights were originally invented for dental and medical work. Then the fashion industry saw a benefit to the ring light and soon everyone wanted a ring light - even people who didn't need them. Which is the case for many social media stars. Why? Because the ring light was PRIMARILY about getting good lighting on the subject's pupils of their eyes. The ring light gives a nice, round (with a hole in the center) reflection of the flash in the center of the model's pupils. It also allowed for a diffuse lighting around the face that didn't create a lot of harsh shadows, and that is the purpose that most social media personalities are using the ring light to achieve. To do that, you need a good light and a good light isn't cheap. Also, most of the ring lights come in 9inch or 12inch sizes, and the B-Land ring light tries to compromise with a 10" ring light that can sort of take the middle ground. The big problem is that ring lights are designed for the camera to be in the CENTER of the light. That way it is taking the photo or video from the center of the light radiating outwards. This setup cleverly allows you to record from several devices at different angles, focal points and zoom levels - but none of them are from the center of the ring light, which defeats the purpose. In practice, I found this kit to be a very reasonable set for the price, but if you are looking to put together a high quality setup, this is probably not the kit for you. On the other hand, if you are just testing the waters, or - in my case - putting together a setup for a child who wants to be a YouTube star (without spending a fortune) this is a nice starting point. You aren't going to cheap that it isn't even functional, but you aren't breaking the bank either. The tripod is fairly well made. This set WILL WORK, but you will need to place the lights close to the subjects because the light fall-off is pretty significant. And it will hold most phones and microphones, but make sure you keep a close eye on everything and make sure it is attached well so nothing comes loose and falls.I would recommend this to someone looking for a decent quality kit to start doing Youtube or Instagram videos for a channel. It is fairly adaptable and functional and reasonably priced, but if you are sure you will be doing this seriously, then you might want to shoot for a little more expensive, and higher quality setup with the camera in the center of the ring light. At least one of them!I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. If you ask something and I don't get back quickly, please check my profile page and email me and I will try to respond as soon as I see it. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

Works if you're using it correctly
I'm a professional photographer and I was interested to see this ring light and tripod combination. The advantage of ring lights is the omni-directional lighting which is usually more flattering for portraits. A side benefit is a cool catch light in the subject's eyes. This set-up is not professional by any means, nor do the manufacturers even pretend to be since the price point is more affordable. It's obvious it's for personal use and social media since the emphasis in on smart phone captures, which is what I am judging it for. The optimal way to use a ring light is to go very close, the subject's face is literally inches away from the light itself and the camera is usually taking the photo from in the middle of the ring light. This set-up however is nothing like that. The way they have it designed, the ring light is supposed to above you while the smartphones are at face height or below. This set up is not ideal and not the most flattering photos, since light falloff from this is pretty bad. If the ring light is any distance at all from your face, the light becomes directional and weak. The tripod itself is lightweight and multi-functional. It can definitely be used for more than just this ring light and smart phone set up and is probably the thing I like most about this combination. The only warning is not to use any kind of heavy camera on it. Definitely no DSLRs (I just wouldn't trust it) but anything else like compact cameras or smart phones works well.In the end I would recommend it, as long as you're using it correctly and you don't expect professional results at an amateur price point.
