Jelly Beans by Just Born 4.5lbs

Tastes like Mike & Ike’s. Bigger than a Jelly Belly but not as big as Brachs. Much better flavor and quality than Brachs. Second favorite jelly bean to Jelly Belly. You won’t be disappointed.

I was a tried and true Jelly Belly fan until the prices recently became exorbitant. $10 per pound is a bit hard to swallow.I’ve tried Brachs and other old-time favorites, but don’t like them. They’re different colors but all taste the same.So far, Just Born are my favorite. Each of the six flavors have a strong, distinctive taste. They were fresh when delivered and store well in air-tight containers. Just wish they came in a few more flavors.Can’t beat the price for such a generous amount.

I rarely buy things from Amazon, unless it is work related. But, I could not find these anywhere in stores. So, desperate times, desperate measures. Plus, 4.5 pounds of jelly beans should last anyone a good amount of time.

I love these jelly beans. Normally we purchase Brachs but they tend to be a bit pricey. But typically you get what you pay for. Most in my family are not fond of Jelly Bellys and Brachs are what we all grew up on. So many Jelly Beans now-a-days are very inferior quality and inferior taste. However we stumbled upon these by Just Born and decided to give them a try. Oh! are we so glad we did!!!! These are great!. Texture is perfect, the ratio of shell to jelly/gummy is perfect, and the Flavors are fabulous. nearly the perfect Jelly Bean. Our only........complaint is too strong a word....wish is probably better is that the beans are a bit small for our liking. We would really like larger beans. The old fashioned Jelly Beans we grew up on were about twice the size of these. Growing up, if you put more than 3 or 4 in your mouth you'd look like a chipmonk and Mom would tell you stop being a piggy LOL. We like the larger beans so you could eat one at a time and still get enough to fully enjoy the flavor. Ok I know that is a bit nit picky, we can just grab 2 or 3 and pop 'em in the mouth. But if you only want one flavor at a time you have to watch the colors you pick out. Nothing worse than picking up a fruit flavor and a licorice at the same time without noticing. But such a minor point and just a personal gripe. Speaking about licorice, these are very good for a Jelly bean. Most manufacturers make the licorice flavor so strong that it actually starts getting a metalic taste and ruin it. They do not realize that a little goes a long way with licorice. Just Born has it right IMO. Bold enough to be enjoyable but mild enough to avoid that nasty metalic taste.And for those of you that do not like black licorice, there are very few in these bags. just enough so that those that enjoy them get some, but not at the expense of the other flavors. I've attached a couple of pics showing the black ones separated out. The amounts are 9 lbs. (2- 4.5 lb bags). the colored ones are in a gallon zip-loc and the black are in a quart zip-loc.

I have lived all over the USA and tasted foods and candy from all over our country. JUST BORN are the best tasting jelly beans ever. Remember the flavor of white jelly beans? Yuck! Even Just Born's white jelly beans taste delicious. 😋 Since moving to the midwest I have been without Just Born Jelly beans for quite a few years. Then it dawned on to me to check AMAZON. MY was I a happy camper when I found them on Amazon! I just hope that Amazon continues to stock them. There is not one bad flavor in the entire assortment of jelly beans.
