I don't normally order triple xl but the last polyester/spandex shirt(from another company) I got was about 2 sizes small. I like my shirts a little big and these are truly 3xl. I bought a 2XL because I wanted the shirt to fit a little loose for breathability, and the size was perfect (I'm 6'2" and 240lbs). The shirt was extremely comfortable and did not feel hot at all when dry and getting ready to go out kayaking. I dunked myself in the lake before kayaking, so I allowed the drying action of the shirt to keep me cool, and it did even while kayaking in windy conditions for an hour.It kept the TX sun off of me without being uncomfortable. If you like your clothing loose, you might want to consider buying one size up. It worked well for my purposes.I would recommend this shirt to kayakers, fishermen, and outdoors enthusiasts.
