Great for long term storage
The DuraVolt solar RV charger is an excellent investment for RV owners. After placing it on my king pin three weeks ago, it has consistently kept my two batteries above 12 volts without any issues. The super-magnetic mount makes installation a breeze, especially on fifth wheel trailers. With its 15-watt power output and 8/10 amp charging capacity, it’s perfect for maintaining 1-2 batteries. The high-efficiency crystalline cells ensure maximum power generation in a compact design. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this charger for keeping your RV batteries charged, particularly during inactive periods or when off-grid. It’s a reliable and efficient solution that delivers on its promises. It even keeps up with the CO detector running, I do have full Florida sun though.

Perfect
It was expensive, but it works great. It keeps 2 batteries charged in Oregon where the sun doesn’t shine that much. I was told to unhook the batteries so there wasn’t a parasitic draw, but I never have. It mounts super easy with magnets and hasn’t fallen off at 70mph.

Verify Positive side matches your positive side hook-up on your RV
I have used the solar panel now for a few storage trips. Each time I have come to a 4.4V battery. Not good. After doing some troubleshooting, I found the 2 prong plug positive and negative are opposite then the plug on the 5th wheel. In other-words the negative lined up with my positive in the 5th wheel. I had to switch the battery hookup terminals to keep the positive inline the way to the battery. Not sure who's fault, but plug and play may work, but you need to make sure the wires are correct on the camper.

adheres strong and seems to work
this was a little pricey but it is working and the magnets adhering it to the pin box are super strong, this thing isn't going anywhere when driving. It's thinner than I thought it would be a flexes but seems to be well built, we will see how it holds up in the sun. This one can charge more than 1 battery.

Very pleased
Easy to install, working as advertised, magnets very strong. Tech support prior to purchase and after install was excellent. Would highly recommend. From Sun City AZ

Keeps one 12v battery charged...not two
I stuck it on top of my propane covers. It produced about 18 volts when tested. I hooked it up to my two deep cell batteries but it would not keep up so now its hooked up to one.

A well engineered product
Purchased to maintain 2 12V deep cycle batteries while my RV is in storage. It is straight forward to install and as advertised is plug and play. For a 5th wheel the magnetic fasteners make attaching the panel to the pin box a 10 second project. In the few hours I was there the unit bumped my batteries up .10 Volts. Working straight out of the box.

Worth the money but Not indestructible
4 Year update I bought 2 panels Nov 2021 and I have 2-12v batteries on my 5th wheel. The panels were able to maintain 90% charge on my batteries even through bad winter storms. I did have to play around mounting two panels on the kingpin. Highly struggled with this and eventually paid the price. November 2025 we have 3 days of 50+mph winds and snow. Could not get to the camper and when I did the panel wiring sheered at the connection. My guess the wind knocked both panels of and 3 days of swing torn the wiring off. I have since moved to 2-460aH Lithium batteries and no longer need the panels but unable to pass them on to my sons since the wiring is off and I’d have to destroy the connection box to reapply. My -1 from my 5 stars (aka 4 stars) is to encourage the manufacturer to make a reasonable way to reattach wiring and somehow better way to mount and angle the panels on the kingpin. I’m moving to 400aH solar panel package to maintain my lithium batteries. I got 4 great years of our the product but as my son noted “Dad, the panels ARE NOT Indesrructible solar” as noted in the panel. Not indestructible but worth every penny but as anything else it can be better.
