This is my favorite leash that I've ever owned or used. I used to be a dog walker and work as a vet tech, so I've used over a hundred leashes. My dog is 60 pounds and pulls at times. I use a prong collar because I have slipped discs in my back and neck and can't chance him pulling at all. He usually only pulls when there's little dogs on leash near us. This leash allows me to pull him in close to me so he doesn't scare people or other animals. I live in an apartment and there are a few people who are afraid of all of the dogs especially in the elevator so this is an important feature. The leash also allows me to to use the main handle to provide plenty of room for him to go explore as I load and unload my car but not long enough for him to get hit by a car. The leash has comfortable handles with no sharpness so it doesn't cut me if the dog sharply pulls. He is not an extreme chewer but does like to pull on the leash to play tug o war with me when I allow it. It has only freyed slightly after owning the leash for over 6 months. The clip and fabric are well constructed and I doubt it would break with any dog. It may be way too long for dogs over 60 - 70 lbs but is perfect for me. This is my second purchase. The first purchase lasted 1 year but was lost when I took him to the kennel. I didn't even bother looking for a new brand or style and just clicked reorder instead. Would highly recommend especially with someone who has a disability like I do.

Overall, this is a great leash. I would rate it a solid 4 stars. There are a few components that I REALLY like. The two handles are great. I love the lower handle for closer control and the handles are also padded, so they are a very comfortable grip. I also reallly really like the carabineer clip. This was a genius move to the creator that decided to implement. Super easy to clip on and off and it's not a cheap clip; it feels very secure.The one remark I have is that the nylon strap is not super comfortable or natural to walk with. It's quite on the thin side so I am often trying to wrap it around my hand a little bit or if I let it all the way out, the leash is actually just a hair too long. So, I am usually in an awkward spot in where I want to hold the leash. Because of this, I am actually really sad to say that I have resorted back to using my old leash 24/7, which my hope was to have switched to this leash. If the nylon leash had a little more thickness or cushion to it so that I could choke up where I would like to, I would switch over. It's just a little uncomfortable and has turned me away from it.

I was looking for a leash with a heavy duty hook. My dog is a 105lb beast and I was afraid he'd break a regular leash hook. He's pulled pretty hard and it's still intact. We used it during training and it performed very well. The handles are padded which is nice for my achy arthritic hands. It's a good length. Placement of the traffic handle could be a little closer to the dog but I'm fairly short so for an avg height or tall person I'd say it's perfect. We walk a lot after dark sho one of my favorite features is the reflective lines in it. We've had it close to 6mo now, we use it 4-6 times daily and it's still in like new condition. No fraying of threads or stitches coming apart. It was a steal for the price and I'd buy it again.

The handles make this a good leash for reactive dogs where normal nylon leads cut into your hand more. The carabiner is a little on the bulky side but it's easy to clip and I've never had an issue with it coming loose.As a taller person with a shorter dog, the short lead could be just a few inches longer. Not much else to complain about though!

Bought this to work with my 95 pound dog on some training. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design and comfort of the handler, but also the safety for the dog. I love the two handles, because while working on walks the lower handle is the perfect placement for working with the dog, but still having the comfort of a handle. I also like the carabiner clip used to attach to the collar--very secure. Based on the pictures I did think the carabiner was either an add on or separate component of the leash, but it is there instead of the usual clip. I see now that the carabiner pictured with the leash is just a larger image of the clip. The leash is very sturdy and seems to be stitched very well. I have had a little over a month and no wear has shown at this point in time. I would say that this is a heavier leash and because of the two handles it does seem to be too much for the dog to drag around in the house so we do have a plain leash to have on her inside the house.
