This is a good little drawing tablet. My kids love it. And I really like that you can change the battery, extending the life of the product. Also, less paper waste! I don't know how it compares to the popular "boogie board" brand though, as I don't own one. The reason I took off a star was because the writing was a bit light for my liking. I wish it was just a little darker because it can be harder to see in different lighting. Also, the plastic backing seems a bit thin, so it doesn't feel super sturdy. I'm hoping it will hold up to the use of 3 kids. We are a homeschooling family and will be using this during our school time in place of scratch paper or a chalk board. My kids are really excited for that!
