Soft & Tasty
I didn’t really read the label so I thought I was getting the hard cookie with the giant chocolate chunks. (They’re kind of too giant for my taste.) But I just picked that for a change of pace. So I was pleasantly surprised to get this soft cookie with manageable chunks. Very tasty. There are 2 layers of cookies in the bag. Milanos have 3 layers just fyi. It seems that this bag got smushed in delivery, but the cookies held up. Hard cookies probably would have crumbled under the pressure. Which is a metaphor for life.

Great quality cookies
The product arrived quickly. The cookies were very flavorful. A sweetness to them that is often lost on prepackaged cookies. The cookies were very soft but not so much that they would crumble. The texture was very pleasing. If I would have to give a negative, it would be that the package doesn’t come with very many cookies. If you are not careful, you could finish them in an afternoon.

My kinds stopped eating Pepperidge farm cookies once I brought Montauk edition.
If you ask me how is these cookies, I would say it is just cookies and I love chocolate cookies all day any time. However, all my 3 kids who also loves cookies are stopped eating this Montauk cookies from Pepperidge Farm. My kids says that they dont like taste. I too feel these cookies are slightly differently made than any other normal chocolate cookies. These are soft and slightly chewy. Since these cookies have chemicals to increase shelf life, I now buy dough from freeze section and bake my own way and kids loves them.
