1 fatal design that ruin the potential 5 stars review.With all the engineering the company put into this fine fish bag , why put a beach ball type cheap vinyl air valve in this??The cheap air valve pop open when I flipped my kayak in a surf landing, and now the sea water is trapped between the layer.Dry it out ? Forget it, 3 days under the sun, it is still moisture between the layer, it will probably grow mildew soon...I wish it use an air valve with a screw cap on it instead.Will be glad to pay for the extra buck or two for it !-------After 5 months , update....Inner layer material is very weak, tears in 5 areas.Outer layer remain strong.People who design this may not be a fisherman, why use sub standard ,weak material for a fish bag ?

Inner liner tore after 4 months
Terribly disappointed!Pros: Easy to carry, nice shape, looks good, outer construction is solidCons: Ice lasts no more than 24 hours in A/C and 4-6 hours in sun on a hot day.-inside liner is very thin compared to outside shell-foam insulation minimal-air valve is a cheap version of a flip up beach ball valve-Top is not quite water tight-REALLY hard to flip inside out to cleanThis bag was used for about 4 months camping and working alright. The ice does not last a full day in 100 degree heat exposed to the sun but it was okay in the shade. The first kayak trip with this bag the bottom of the inside lining tore and fishy ice water got trapped between the two layers and created a horrible funk overnight. In a rage the inside layer was cut off to then expose a sad excuse for foam insulation. Not even worth 50 dollars. There are other brands proven much better than this.

Worth the Price
I love the design of the cooler. I know a lot of people complain about the air valve, but they must have upgraded the design because the one I have the air valve twist and seems to hold air fine. After my third trip out I did get water between the interior lining and discovered it was tear on the inside at the seam. Notified them and they sent me a new one with no problems. They didn't even ask for the other one back (I did send pics to prove it was defective). Hopefully the new one I got won't have any issues. I really liked the other one before it ripped. It holds ice in Florida heat on the gulf for the 6-7 hours I'm out there. I keep the ice in the plastic bag instead of just pouring it out in there. Seems to hold Ice longer. After the trip there is a significant amount of ice melted but I expect that due to the heat and opening the cooler several times, but it's still enough ice and cool enough to keep my fish fresh.

Expensive, but does everything it says!
Product works as advertised. It holds ice ALL DAY while sitting on top of my kayak exposed to the sun and is easy to stow when not in use. I like the fact that it has a air valve so you can inflate/deflate if needed. I also like the carrying handle, it's nice to be able to strap it around your chest and free up another hand while getting back to the vehicle. I can see the webbing on the top being useful for something, although I never used it as the bag was out of reach most of the time and I already have a paddle holder.

Perfect
Perfect size for long kings. Mounted easy to the front of my kayak and holds ice all day in the hot Florida summers. I have had this cooler for about a year and it has held up well.

Great product
Very well made soft cooler. It keeps things cold for a long time. This model is not for touring style kayaks. It is too big. It would work very well for sit on tops. If you are looking for a cooler that will fit a touring model then look at the Icemule Classic 10 liter

not good quality in my experience
It leaks, not good quality in my experience. Not the quality I expect from Icemule. Very disappointed. Too late to return so now am stuck with it.
