Supremo Italiano: Pepperoncini 1 Gallon

I was very happy with my order.

very tough pepper. there was an base taste slightly cover by the vinegar, have much much better pepperoncini during my 42 years in food service. I did not expect the quality or taste of these pepperoncini to compared with with the ones I ordered and served at several fine Italian establishments where I was the Chef. Neither were they as good as the local North Carolina Pizza Inn's ones that are on their salad bar.I am not sure who made the ones in the gallon jar I was shipped. No label, no name country of origin, nothing but a small item number label. very dis appointed . I tried using them up in an anti-pasta salad i made for a community event, using good quality meats and cheese and these, people mentioned the anti =pasta was good except for the perreroncini's . I apologized. my food is generally very well received by my guests, customers and the public at large.

Flavor is superior to all mainstream brands of pepperoncini. Excellent and will now be a staple in my pantry. Great in salads.

Most of the peppers are entirely too small. I'm talking peanut/cashew small. That's probably great for a salad, but if you're like me and eat them like popcorn, you'll be disappointed. The flavor is relatively mild and acidic. Doesn't stand up to brands like Mezzetta.

The product met expectations.

Didn't like that it took so long to receive.Kept getting messages that it may have been lost .Definitely good flavor and good size peppers

We ordered one gallon and loved them so much the next week we ordered 2 gallons. Both of the new gallons, packaged 3 months after the first according to the date stamp, tasted old. They had no crunch, more the texture of rubbery wax. Completely inedible. When I went through the steps to replace the items per the instruyen Amazon, I wound up in an endless loop of the same 3 pages.
