Probably the best way to describe this paper is like really thin, really smooth, high quality construction paper. It's great for practicing with, and the results look really good (if not display quality, depending on your standards). I'd recommend this to beginners, it's great to have cheap paper you don't mind messing up with. Having the same color on both sides helps to hide when your folds aren't perfect (mine rarely are). For more experienced folders, this is great practice paper, and great to just throw something together if (say, like me) you're folding something for your elementary age child for whom it will be a disposable toy more than a piece of artwork for display.

This origami paper is intended for kids or beginners. I bought it for my kids to practice and play with. We had a fantastic time with it and I'm really happy that I opted for this cheaper version rather than pay for the more expensive stuff. You get far more paper in this package, so kids can practice with it and use several sheets without making you worry. It comes with several different colors, which both my kids and I were happy with. Great for classrooms or group art projects.

These aren't origami sheets to wow your friends and relatives with, and they don't need to be. These are origami workhorses - the inexpensive, colorful, medium weight sheets that you can use day after day to hone your craft and try out new designs. This pack is perfect for an origami fan who wants to stay in practice, or for a child who might waste as many as they use, trying to figure out the designs. The size seems to be about right for most designs; the sheets are a little large for simple designs, but perfect for cranes, dragons, tigers, and more. I do wish there had been slightly more variety in color; they provide two greens and two blues, but no black. All the colors have a sort of "crayon box" look - bright, easily identifiable, and high color saturation.

I used this to teach a fourth grade class some origami. Beautiful colors and easy to use. The best part is that it is truly square which is extremely important for origami. The only thing that may be of concern to beginners is that it is colored on both sides. (Traditional origami paper is colored on one side and white on the other). So it may be a little confusing when following diagrams since your can't tell the "right side" from the "wrong side." It didn't matter for the fourth graders because we made a star that used two different colored papers at once, back-to-back.

The packaging may vary a little from what's on the images. Mine came with a blue origami seahorse on the front. This is probably my favorite origami paper to date. First and foremost, it has color on both sides. I definitely think this is one of the better deals out there for 100+ sheets of this size with double sided color. The extra color does make it a little thicker than some of the smaller paper I've worked with, but the colors are beautiful. The larger size makes it easier to work with for beginners, as opposed to smaller paper you can get. Will definitely be buying again. And again. I can't recommend this enough.

This paper is a good value for the price. It is a little thinner than most origami paper, but what I love about it, is it is colored on both sides. Great for Kusudama Balls, and easier to fold those teenie tiny folds, than regular weight paper.

The amount of paper you get for the price is great, but the paper is not very sturdy. You can use it to make many basic origami, but the paper makes more complicated origami hard to accomplish without tearing the paper. The paper is also full color on both sides, so you cannot use the opposite side, which is usually white, as a guide. If you are looking for practice paper or paper for simple origami, this is worth it. Kids will love the colors. Advanced origami enthusiasts, though, should look into other papers.

This is not the highest quality paper, and it's not meant to be. It's inexpensive, medium weight, and you get plenty of it. If you're a beginner, this is the paper for you. Don't practice your folds with expensive washi style paper, use something like this instead. The rose I just made for my wife took multiple attempts, and this paper worked out well for it. This paper is fine for beginners of any age.
