Blend this with a seriously awful plot, deeply disturbed and depraved bad characters and when kids are involved in that story, in particular a story dealing with abuse and depraved levels of criminality - you need to handle with care. Susan has delivered on that score - you definitely have the makings an amazing and totally engaging book. Incredibly strong, caring characters characters, with such depths of inner fortitude and that never give up attitude. They are there for each other no matter what - they are family and will do whatever it takes to protect those they love. Tensions are high, suspense leaves you holding your breath, waiting. No matter what - you have to trust your training, trust your innate instincts, focus, prepare, and attention to detail, to save those your love! JUSTICE FOR MILENA is a beautiful story, well written and thoroughly intriguing in all aspects. Susan Stoker is one of my all time favourite authors in Military/Romantic Suspense. If you love page-turning, heart pounding, breath taking words - Susan Stoker, constantly delivers this and so much more for her readers. What are you waiting for?

Not for the overly sensitive to trafficking stories but superbly written and performed - I loved this story. Susan always writes gritty stories and this is no different. A second chance love story, a surprise dad, and a horrific trafficking ring. It’s all beautifully narrated by Erin Mallon once again and the characters are definite gems. I loved Milena and TJ.

This is another good read but Milena leaves a little to be desired as a heroine. Her reasoning for not saying anything to the authorities about the School are ridiculous - she signed and NDA and received a paycheck - any person with an ounce of integrity would have voiced their concerns to the authorities. So while Milena is not in my top twenty of Susan Stoker's heroines (Sophie, Beth, Caroline, Fiona, Emily, even little Annie are awesome characters), TJ actually brings the book up from the 3 stars I would have given it. TJ's reaction to Milena's secret is every woman's wish come true. No anger or accusations, just acceptance and joy. I am really looking forward to Blythe's story!

I loved this book and I think the whole Badge of Honor series that Ms. Stoker writes gave this book life . How she presented a very touchy subject was superbly written and researched. Yes, it deals with child sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, the two men Jonathon and Jeremiah who have mental illness with what they considered their girls school should be. (Because those two were more than a few bricks short of a full load). Milena and TJ has a history prior to his becoming a Delta Force sniper but when they meet again at the VA hospital after his last Delta Force op went sideways killing his team mates. But his anger toward the world also makes him realize he's in a very bad place and choses to leave Milena not knowing that she's pregnant. Fast forward three years and Milena and TJ meet again when the Brexar School for Girls is raided by every law agency in the US. But both men manage to escape so TJ volunteers to be Milena's body guard. I love how she shows JT who is dad is and doesn't hide him and how protective her parents are when TJ shows up. Can they rekindle their love for each other when both are ready to move beyond the hurt from years ago? TJ Rockwell was a sniper in the Delta Force but a IED ends up injuring him and the rest of his team. He blames himself so when he meets Milena at the VA hospital he knows that he has PTSD and leaves one night. He's now a Texas Highway Patrolman called in to take down a girl school that uses young girls as sex slaves. He doesn't realize Milena is there helping deliver a baby or that he's a father of a two year old son. Between all of the agencies after the two men TJ offers to watch Milena and her son until they can be caught. But when they are kidnapped he'll have to use his sniper skills to save the two most important people in his life. There are two other stories interwoven into Justice for Milena that will give you hints to Blythe and Sadie's books (Hooray for Chase getting a story line!)

Yay TJ!! He finally got his story. Many years ago he had to leave the love of his life to save her. She deserved to be with someone better than a broken soldier. It was one of his biggest regret letting her go. Now a successful highway patrolman with loyal friends and a good life there was always something missing. That something rather than someone was Milena. He had all but given up finding her. Until one day he receives a call from an Army Officer to investigate an orphanage where Milena works at. Out of all the guys, TJ was the most intriguing to me. What does TJ stand for? Why is he always alone? Was there ever a special someone in his life? All these questions and more were answered in this book. Milena was a great match for TJ. She was strong but had a kind heart. After hurting her all those years ago, TJ had a big wall to climb to get her back. It was fun seeing him climb that wall to their happily ever after. This story had me hooked. It had drama, suspense and most of all a love story that I will want to read again and again.

I don’t know how Susan Stoker does it, but each book is better than the previous one. I have read every one of the badge of honor Texas heroes books. I love all the characters. It’s like I’m reading about a family that I’ve known my entire life. Great story. Great action. Great drama. Great romance. Heartwarming love story. I can’t wait for the next three to come out. I’ve already bought number 11, and have 12 and 13 on my calendar when they release. Start at Texas heroes book one, and read them all the way through. You will love them. You will not be able to put them down. Strong females that love their alpha males with passion.

I understand that writers have a limited space to tell a story, but Milena should have held out a little longer. The way TJ left her was a crushing experience. Her resistance was token at best. A little more time should have been spent on the efforts made to find the Jones'. There seem to be no urgency to it. Finally her father's suggestion that she go live at TJs place after he so recently Re- entered he life was just strange. That being said I still like Ms Stoker's books. I like reading about everyday people. Not everyone is perfect and beautiful. Just ordinary people!

Honestly I did not think Susan Stoker's books could get any better, but she sure proved me so very wrong. And hopefully others will love this book as much as I did. Milena Reinhart had not seen TJ "Rock Rockwell in years, he hurt her deeply and she had not fully recovered as of yet. TJ left the service behind and now is a respected Texas Highway Patrolman, but he never ever forgot the girl he loved and being a man gave her up thinking he was not good enough for her. Neither believed that they would see each other again. But when a pedophile operation is taken down they see each other again. He sets his sights on Milena, TJ foes gets a second chance. Both have secrets that could end any relationship they might have before it even starts. When the bad man threatens the one thing that means the world to them both, they will have to trust each other. All the characters are back also, rounding the story well told, how can one spin such a tale that can keep you entranced for hours.

Love love loved this book. Ms Stoker has done it again. Hot, romantic, exciting and tugging at the heartstrings. This book delivered everything promised and TJ and Milena are an amazing couple. I can’t wait for the next instalment. Thank you for another fantastic book.

TJ and Milenia are a perfect couple. What a journey they had to get to their happily ever after. True family, great friends, true strength and determination are all part of this story's telling. Ms. Stoker weaves excellent and compelling adventures for all her readers and I highly recommend this and all of her books.

Another brilliant book in the Texas Heroes series. TJ and Milena meet when TJ is recovering from injuries received in Afghanistan.She nurses him back to physical health, but mentally, he’s got a long way to go. In order to fully heal, he leaves, breaking both their hearts in the process. Three years later they are reunited by chance, and TJ needs to prove to Milena that he’s always loved her and wants to be with her forever. Set against the backdrop of an FBI investigation, this romance is just epic. TJ is such an Alpha male, but he’s humble enough to show his vulnerability too. Milena is a strong character who has picked herself up after heartbreak, and yet is willing to lay it all on the line again for TJ. The suspense element of this story adds another wonderful layer to the book. I can’t recommend it enough. Five sparkling stars.

Probably one of the best editions in the series yet, but Ms Stoker keeps getting better. TJ and Milenas' story is full of so much history and emotion. Injured when he met Milena, running from the best thing because his head wasn't in the best place, making himself into a man worthy of Milenas love TJ trained for highway patrol, gained respect and friends who had his back. Finally a quirk of fate puts Milena back in his life and his heart. Having been hurt by TJ leaving, but still loving him deeply, plus the situation can they trust each other, find each other again? Read this, great story, well written, engrossing, emotional, amazing. Highly recommend
