I was under the impression that it came with bags for the wheels, but it didn't. It has two large side pockets secured with long Velcro straps to put the wheels in. My bike is larger, with 700 cm tires and a larger frame that fits me better than a standard 26" adult bike and I had to remove the handlebars to fit into it, but I know how to disassemble and reassemble it so it was fine for my purposes. It qualifies as oversized luggage so it cost more but was less than the quote for shipping.
