Someone asked about hardness of these snacks. They vary from very soft to medium hard. Our cars love them. My wife says I give them too much but they eat them all up. (Obviously I am talking about the cat treats, not the dog treats. We have no dogs.)

Have elderly cats with health issues that won't always eat well. I have started crushing these hard snacks in a small electric coffee/seed grinder & sprinkling a very tiny amount of the resultant powdered snack on their canned cat food if they will not eat. Works like magic. They also love the turkey & chicken treats so I do the same thing with them as fish too often is not really good for cats. A bag lasts a long time when used for this purpose as you really do need only a tiny bit on the food to get the cats to eat. (They have a great sense of smell & they really think they love even their not so preferred foods with a tiny sprinkling of this on top.) I also like that these are 100% human-grade real fish (or meat.)

This freeze dried salmon does not have the scales on the outside or the skin on the outside. I actually bought it for my cats and it is clean.

My cats love this stuff. It's pricey, but they are really spoiled, so okay. I tried to save money by buying dog version in a huge bag. Bad idea. The dog version had a lot of skin and bones on the pieces. The cat version is all salmon, very clean, higher quality. My friends dog didn't mind the bones and skin, but for my cats, I'll go back to the smaller bag, marketed specifically to cats. They love it and I feel good giving them something that is pure salmon with no fillers.

As we all know, freeze dried treats are expensive. Of course I got my cat addicted to them. I bought this brand once because it would arrive faster than the purebites. Well, my cat started putting her nose in the air and just walking away when I tried to give her pure bites. She would come back and meow till I got off the couch and grabbed these. They come in a sealed airproof package inside the bag you see here for freshness. They have 1 ingredient for the cats health. Since they sealed in the airtight package, they don't seem to get crushed as much. The size of the pieces are great. There are some pieces I think are a little to large for my cat, so I do cut them..

We have been buying these for years as they are the only treats our cat will eat. They have consistently been of excellent quality, and we certainly hope that they continue to be so.

Cats love these. Worth the money and on my list of repurchases.

My cat loved these for the past 5 years up until my last 2 orders. The second to last package was concrete fish paste bricks that I had to break apart with a screwdriver. They didn't resemble anything of actual pieces of freeze dried salmon like all the other bags I've gotten. But my cat still ate them. Then my last order looked like some weird imitation fish , you could see artificial coloring in them even. They didn't even smell fishy and terrible like they always did. My cat wouldn't even eat them. Just like everything else these days , the price goes up and the quality goes down. I won't buy these anymore.
