How sterdy is this chair. Why remove casters, armrests do not remove, how is this chair outdoors on pavement?

The chair proved to be very sturdy for my husband who is 150 lbs. We used it on the pavement on New York City, and it was easy to maneuver with no problems. He leans to the right due to spinal issues, and the chair maintains balance. We used it on a cruise ship and it was easy to maneuver around tight spaces. We do remove the wheels to fit the chair into cars, and it is simple to reattach them.

the product description says "the arm rests flip up to make transferring easy, fast and safer." someone below said that they do not. anybody know?

The arms on the chair are spring loaded. You can push one button on either arm and it can be removed very easy. As far as “flipping up”, no it does not flip up. I still highly recommend this chair for the simplicity of use.
