I bought this hoping it would help to give my Frenchie some mental stimulation and slow his eating. He LOVES this snuffle mat. I was worried it would be too small but it is the perfect size and holds his food no problem. I've washed it 3 or 4 times now and still holding up great. It does move around the floor some so the non skid bottom isn't great but it works for the price.

My dog LOVES this snuffle mat. It's super easy to throw in the washing machine when needed.

Our small dogs love this mat, but after only a few weeks it permanently stained our hardwood floor. Had to throw it away. Buy one that is felt on the bottom and not rubber

The media could not be loaded.  I got this little mat to see if it would help slow down my mini dachshund's eating habits, and so far it is great! My doxie is almost completely blind and feels the need to inhale his food so I often worry about him choking. I have tried slow feeder bowls and other toys, but he just sees it as a challenge and continues to eat as fast as he can. This mat does help a bit, I know some people put a whole feeding in the mat, but I like to only put a small amount at a time so he really has to try and find the pieces of kibble. I think this mat also helps him to rely on his other senses instead of trying to look for the food which is nice. Probably would not suggest for a larger dog since the mat is fairly small, but works well for a small or mini pup!

This snuffle mat is really thick which is nice, my dog seems to figure these out really fast normally but it took her some time with this one. We use it on a carpet but the rubber bottom seems to be pretty sticky if it's on hardwood floors. This is by far my favorite enrichment toy.

My dog loves this snuffle mat! Our dog trainer said that dogs are happier when they have to actually work for their food. Our pup does great with the mat and easily gets every last morsel. Honestly, it amazes me how well she does. As a bonus, it slows down her eating which is better that her scarfing everything down in 2 seconds.

I have a smaller size lab and golden retriever both less than 5 yrs old, they love these, they get very excited when I get them out. I just save around a 1/2 cup of their normal morning meal and give it to them during the day. It does take a while to hide all the kibble pieces, but I have to bury mine pretty deep in it. They enjoy the foraging and digging around in it. I put them in their crates so they can’t drag it all over the house, I only do it when I am home, just fire safety. Sometimes I fix them, put them in their crates then go take my shower, and when I come out they are both laying very quiet and happy.
