I should have trusted Speedo in the first place!
I have now been swimming regularly in this suit for over six months, so I decided to update my review. THIS SUIT IS AWESOME!!!! Iโm so glad I bought it! It is still as good as new after swimming in a chlorinated pool every other day, (now updated to 2500-3600 yards per swim - see below for original 2-month review), and the suit is still in perfect condition! Original review from four months ago: I resumed regular swimming five months ago after a near-forty year hiatus. I have an old brief Speedo poly suit that will still work after over forty years in storage (and after at least a year of daily use in the 1980โs), but I felt that jammers would be more age-appropriate. I decided to cheap out and buy an off-brand poly suit on Amazon, because I felt that Speedos and other name brand suits were over priced. That was a huge mistake. I doubt that the off-brand suit was really a poly suit, because it quickly turned into an in-water parachute in a little over a month, and after two months I decided to look for a Speedo. I found this purple one on sale, and decided to give it a try. I did immediately return the first one, because it was a little looser than I preferred, but I have now been swimming with this suit 2,000-3,000 yards every other day for over two months in a mixed saltwater/chlorine (mostly chlorine) indoor pool, and so far it is still in virtually the same condition as the day it arrived. I have no doubt that this suit will easily last over a year (likely several years) of regular use. Both of my kids swam competitively, and I learned then that poly suits are a must for regular training. Back in the โ80โs I just knew these suits as โSpeedosโ, and they always lasted. Back then, before marriage and kids, I was swimming three miles per day every day for years. As for color, itโs not important to me what I look like between the locker room and the pool, so I saved a bunch by buying a heavily-discounted color that others must have rejected. Thatโs ok with me, because I donโt like overpaying for anything. As for errant threads that I saw others comment about in reviews, I have only seen one loose thread, and it didnโt affect the integrity of any of the seams on the suit. I simply snipped it off, and the suit is fine. I highly recommend this suit to anyone who intends to spend a lot of time in the water and doesnโt want to have to replace their suit every few weeks. My pace increased as soon as I ditched the stretched out parachute โpolyโ and replaced it with the tried and true Speedo. By the way, I donโt put my suits in the spinner; I rinse them in the shower after every use and hang them to dry.

Comparison with TYR's Durafast Jammer
The last time I needed a new suit, I purchased the TYR brand equivalent (Durafast Jammer) of this suit. At the time I purchased the Speedo, I wore a size 38 waist, and so I purchased one size down because in the past, I've found that one size down from my pant size usually works for competition suits. In the four months that I used this suit, I dropped down to a 36, and so when it came time for a new one, I figured 34 ought to be the right size. Because this brand's 34 was more expensive, I purchased the TYR. What I love about this suit: The material is a polyester blend which holds its form and color very well. The material also dries very quickly, and this is important because putting on a wet suit if I work out a second time in a day is a pretty awful feeling. The suit is tight enough to keep my business in place without being restrictive. When I get out of the pool, the suit doesn't suck up against my man bits to reveal a profile of what I've got going on, even after it's broken in. What I don't love about this suit: Like others, I've found that there is a bit of a problem with the stitching; however, my stitching only became discolored. It did not unravel like others have said. I swim 12-15 miles/week, and so the suit gets a fair amount of time exposed to chlorine. The discoloration is not enough for me to drop a star because to me, form follows function. How it measures up against TYR's Durafast: I would give Speedo the nod overall, but not by much. When I purchased my Speedo, it was less expensive than it was when I bought the TYR. The TYR was a bit tight in the thighs at the beginning, and that shouldn't have much variance with a differential of one size in the waist. I would feel comfortable buying either again, and cost will be the sole factor in making that decision.

Good suit. Confusing sizing.
6'3" 210. Usually wear a 36 waist, sometimes 34 (levis run big). I got both the 36 and 34 since there was so much confusion. The 36 was fairly loose. The 34 fit snug but not tight, maybe just a little tight above the knee. For me, the recommendation to wear a size down from casual pants seemed to be correct. Nice material. Feels good in the water.

Just what I needed for lap-swim training. -meets or exceeds all expectations.
I'm a big fan. I purchase this set as my second pair of jammers ever as I've never worn anything like them. I've been getting into swimming over the past two months and swim 3 days a week for 30-45mins in chlorine pools both indoor and outdoor. The first pair of Jammers I purchased were just to see if I could handle the suit style and how much difference they made over traditional shorts - if you're new to swimming for training or racing, they are worth it, the full range of motion and low-drag are great if you're serious about what you're doing at all. That first pair I bought were colorful, off-brand, and relatively poor material. By comparison (and I'm not normally a name brand shopper at all) this Speedo Jammer has won my favor because they -dry significantly faster than the inexpensive (cost about 2/3ds as much) pair -remain durable throughout use so I don't feel like they're going to be pilling or falling apart as I peel them off or rinse them in the shower -these look better, the universally usable matte-black is a good look for a serious guy swimmer in a training or military environment as opposed to colorful things, these don't bunch up, and the lining in the front is minimal to keep your full range of movement and not wad up but provides the level of modesty I look for. The tie-off laces are on the inside to minimize drag. -They don't feel heavy, I don't feel these things picking up and holding onto a bunch of water like my inexpensive ones do. In sum, I'd recommend these or something very similar to my swimming buds without reservation and plan to use them through training and into competition. If you have questions let me know!

So NIce They Were Stolen!
I recently bought the Speedo Men's Swimsuit Jammer in Endurance+, and let me tell you, they are fantastic! The fit is perfect, and they provide great support and coverage without feeling restrictive. Pros: Comfortable Fit: These jammers fit like a glove! The material is stretchy yet supportive, allowing for a full range of motion while swimming. Durable: The Endurance+ fabric is incredibly resilient against chlorine, which is essential for frequent swimmers like me. They look brand new even after several sessions at the pool. Stylish Design: I love the sleek designโthese jammers look good on! Iโve received several compliments while wearing them. Cons: Price Point: They are a bit on the pricey side, but I believe the quality justifies the cost. Overall: I loved these jammers so much that Iโm pretty sure they were stolen from the aquatic center! I had to buy another pair because they are just that good. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for quality swimwear!

Probably the best tight men's swimsuit on the market
This is a great swimsuit, it fits nicely around the hips and is tight around the thighs so you dont have to worry about it going anywhere when swimming. I wear this as a layer under a wetsuit, and it works great for this. I also appreciate that there are many fun colors.
