I have had this tent for almost a year now and have used it multiple times so I think I can give an accurate review on it.The TL:DR is I love this tent, and if you are thinking of a truck bed setup like this, this tent is awesome! Being up off the ground surrounded by the truck bed gives an extra sense of security and there is plenty of room inside.Setup: Reviews here mentioned setting it up on the ground vs while it is in the truck bed and having done both methods, I agree setting it up on the ground then lifting it into the truck bed is the way to go. It is especially helpful with another person to help get it into place. The actual setup of the tent is typical, and if you are used to setting up a tent this is similar. It takes about 5 minutes now to get it popped up and into the truck bed, first time is a little frustrating when you don't fully know how it works. I am in a 2005 Nissan Titan and it fits perfectly.Durability: so far this tent has held up just fine with multiple setup and take downs, no visible damage yet, and it survived some very strong winds during a bit of a storm. With the rain fly on it stays perfectly dry inside and not being on the ground when it rains is very nice. Zippers are all holding up fine. I also found out that it can hold up to moving the truck under 20mph recently when a Bear decided to crash our campsite, my Wife and Son inside reported that it was solid during the short ride we took.Inside/comfort: The tent gives a really cozy feeling in your truck bed and even though its just the size of your truck, it feels plenty spacious and sleeps my Wife, Son and I comfortably. There is plenty of headroom and the way it hangs over the sides of the bed make it like a shelf on each side where I like to put my phone/keys/wallet etc... We originally were using a queen size air mattress and while it fit well, the comfort was a bit lacking (probably due to the low quality mattressI was using) I built a modular wood platform that we then put some foam mattress toppers on it that has really made a huge difference, more comfortable, and more stable than an air mattress.Conclusion: We love this tent and have not regretted it one bit, you feel more secure in your truck bed than on the ground. Setup/takedown is standard for most tents, nothing tricky once you get the hang of it, and it fits in its bag easily enough. I would definitely buy it again if something were to happen to it.

This is a really nice truck tent. Setup and teardown are very easy. Its well built and very roomy. I have a 22 F150 with a 6.5ft bed and it fits perfectly even with a roll up tonneau cover. Its pretty durable and water resistant. The first weekend camping we had a late night rain and with the rain fly stayed dry all night.My girlfriend and I enjoy camping with this, and together can setup and clean up in around 10 minutes.

Dang this tent is great. First, it was delivered sooner than expected and perfectly packaged. I have a long bed Frontier and it fits most excellent. It is SIMPLE to set up and one person CAN set it up in 10-15 minutes... after the initial learning curve. It's light enough to pick up once mostly assembled and placed into the truck bed. I add the rain fly and front pole after in the truck. If you will be in torrential downpours I think I'd add a tarp of some kind to extend the front rainfly coverage. Ventilation is excellent and the materials look to be very good. It's as "four season" as your truck, and tolerance is. At some point I'll acquire the companion SUV tent for the heck of it. My brother has an Xterra and he needs to get out and off the couch. :D Anyway, a most excellent truck tent! **Update 8/21*** I put it back up in my truck bed with the rainfly, no mattress, and vents and door opened maybe 1/3. I drove it around the neighborhood for a while hitting 31 mph (simulated camping in wind) and the Napier Backroadz tent is rock solid. I don't know how much wind it can take, or how long it can withstand a gale, but 31 MPH was definitely confidence inspiring. With an air mattress and gear inside I can see no problems during a common windy camp trip. Also, if you had to bug out of your camp site for some reason leave the tent up and drive off. It should be good to 31 mph, at least!

(Pictured without the fly installed.)I am happy overall with the quality of what I got, but have three relatively minor gripes that would be easy for the manufacturer to improve:1) One of the rubber end bumpers immediately fell off of the poles when I took it down the first time. No big deal to just glue back on - if you don't lose it first.2) Zipper quality is good enough now, but it is light duty plastic and will likely not take much abuse.3) The entry flap rolling down instead of to the side means I will always be walking or tripping over it to some degree. For my trailer, that means it will end up in the dirt a lot.The flap issue is likely less of one when setup in an actual pickup and kept off the ground, but having to go over it to get in and out every time could be problematic. It does stow nicely when rolled up at the bottom however.That aside, the tent is relatively easy to setup and fits mostly within the confines of my trailer. The only fitment issue for it is where there would normally be a tailgate. The side rails of my trailer restrict how wide the door support poles can spread the tent, so it's a little wonky there, but the zipper still has a nice easy pull regardless.I would likely buy again unless I find something better.

Fits perfectly on a Jeep Gladiator. I did something a little crazy and took it untested on a 5 week solo road trip across the country and planned on camping the entire time. For those who say it's hard to set up alone, it's much easier if you put it in the truck bed and put something heavy on the floor of the tent to hold it down, then start setting up. This is also how I transported it, collapsing it on top of my twin air mattress (half deflated and folded in half since the Gladiator's bed is tiny) and gear. Fold in the ends of the poles that extend beyond the bed, close up the soft tonneau cover and you'll be halfway set up the next night and everything stays clean and dry. To put the fly on by yourself, clip the buckle on a corner by the cab on one side, then push the rest of the fly between the back of the tent and the rear cab window. Go to the other side, pull the fly through and clip the other rear buckle. Stand on the rear tire to pull one side up and over, clip the front, then repeat on the other side. It's really pretty easy and I even pulled it off with 40mph wind gusts one night. It survived wind, rain, sleet, and snow and never leaked. The elastic in one set of poles finally broke after I got home and set it up one last time to clean it out, but after 35 straight days of use and abuse, I really can't complain and will get it fixed. Probably one of my best Amazon purchases!

Its good, not as easy to install the first time, but once you done it once, you know the way and faster for second setup. First time took us like 20 minutes for 2 adults to install it, second time took 10 to 15 minutes for an adult to install it.Good ventilation and have a good desing. I have a BAK Revolver bed cover, and while it was tight to isntall on the bed due to the rails of the cover it still fit, so it has some room for adjusting.The zipper on front (door) could be better, the zipper goes around the arch and the attached part of the tend of the door is the bottom side, which pretty much needs to be fully open for an adult to comfortable squeeze in/out and when its fully open, the door falls into exterior which can grab some dirt/mud depending where you are.On regards of material, its ok, the fabric/tarp on the bottom is not though but does the job, the sides are meh, but also does the job, feels it will last for at least 20-30 setups

We bought this tent for an event we would be camping at that took place last week. We encountered sunny days, cool nights and rain while on our trip. The tent performed spectacularly. We were dry inside without any leaks. I have room to stand upright in the middle of the tent, but my husband has to stoop a bit. The size was perfect for the bed of our truck and it is easy to set up. I highly recommend this tent if you plan do camp using the bed of a truck.

We love this tent, I love being off the ground when camping in QLD. You get a few stares, given most people haven’t seen anything like it… but we’re ok with that. The tent is so easy to assemble and pack away. We fit 2 people and 2 dogs comfortably. Great air circulation. Would recommend. We have a GWM cannon Ute and it fits great.

This fits my UK 2018 Nissan Navara P300D perfectly. Easy to assemble and disassemble.Took 45 mins to assemble first time and just 15 mins 2nd time and assembled on the truck.Takes 10 mins to disassemble.Well worth the money.

I am surprise about the quality of the tent. Very strong. 10 minutes to install. You can buy no problem.

Excelente producto. Mi vehículo es una RAM cabina sencilla. Al momento de comprarla tenía muchas dudas, soy nuevo en el tema, entonces medí la caja y es de 6.33 ft...así que hice caso a la tabla que proporciona el producto y no me decepcionó: quedó perfecto. Muy recomendable con respecto a las aberturas del inferior que tienen otros productos, pues no se le meté ningún mosquito. Es mi experiencia al momento.
