The product is cute, know the serving sizes that fit will be petite. The tiny, tiny fork is amusing to me. The five stars are for the product but i give Amazon 2 stars on the process because i had a gift card balance that i wanted to use first and I thought it would ask me for the secondary payment option after the gift card cleared but immediately the transaction was complete and they said the invoice would be emailed to me. The next day everything seemed fine with same delive3ry date. I assumed the payment just rolled over to my secondary form of payment on file. Two days later it says there is a problem. I needed the items for an event but then it was going to arrive too late. I decided to keep these for Christmas gifting because they are so cute. I cancelled the other items.

My doctor told me that I need to lose weight, so this small lunch box is great for me (an adult). The smaller upper container is about 92mm across, holds maximum 1 cup and that's filled to the brim. The lower larger container is about 96mm across, holds about 1 1/4 cup. The middle brown divider is somewhat softer plastic and flexible and creates a flush seal. I added some cold tap water in the lower container to see if it was leak proof, and to my surprise it was. Not sure I would trust it with soup though, but that's just my opinion. The snap shut hinges feel a little delicate and it won't snap shut unless all the pieces fit just right. Which means the hinges won't close if you overfill it. But the price was good (about $11) and it's super cute. So for me, this was a good buy.

A bit small. I knew buying this it was going to be small. I read the reviews and the product description and had an idea. The size isn't bad for a kid as it's a child's bento box. I've seen complaind is its size but the description is there for you to read. Now ontonthw bento box. It is cute and the perfect size for small kids. It is partially leak proof and not. So the top portion isn't leak proof but the bottom is with the inner lid. The inner purple lid is rubbery, you just have to make sure it's sealed tightly. Another cool thing is that you can single stack this with the inner lid and top lid and clamp it closed. There is texture in the 2 food portions to help keep food from slipping around which is nice.

I need to take a person to eat several small meals instead of one very large meal, and it is a perfect lunch and snack for me. An adult woman. There are a lot of reviews saying that it is child size, I guess I just don't eat a lot, but this was perfect for me. The top section is not leak proof, but I'm looking to get a little rubber gasket to add to it to make it leak proof. I haven't tested the bottom portion for leak-proofness, and I can't do that test anymore because today I microwaved the bottom portion with the dark brown lid that divides the two sections. Why? Because I forgot that it wasn't microwave safe and it warped. A lot. I may need to buy a replacement it is so bad. But here's the thing, I'm going to buy a replacement because I love this lunch container. It's also worth it just because it's Totoro. Pros: Perfect portion for lunch and snack or breakfast and snack. Totoro is adorable. Snaps securely. Cons: Top isn't leakproof Fork it comes with is useless, too small and dull. Middle lid isn't microwave safe. All in all, I'd recommend this.

I bought this as a replacement for one I picked up out of town in an asian mart. My daughter packed this for school lunch, and somewhere between lunch and getting washed, the top bowl got lost never making it home..... Or so we thought. When she brought the replacement to school, the SAME thing happened again. This time though, her friends caught what happened. The top slid very snugly into the bottom portion that is very difficult to notice. Luckily we didn't get rid of the original bowl and checked the cabinet and sure enough, they were stuck together. After getting washed, they got stacked and no one noticed until after we got a replacement.
