Expedition Scout Nylon Strap Gents Watch

Excellent watch, really pleased

I am surprised at the quality & functionality of this watch considering the reasonable price, at £44 it's a bargain. The watch is well finished, has an easily readable face with a small date window at the 3 o'clock position which has a 'quick change' facility. The Indiglo feature is really excellent, lighting up the whole face with a subdued glow which does not interfere with night vision. The webbing strap is of good quality and is initially very stiff but will soften with wear. To top it all off it comes with a 2 year Timex guarantee, what's not to like? Anyone considering buying this watch would not be disappointed with their purchase.

A great watch. Is bigger than in the pictures but sits nicely on the wrist. Strap is robust and once worn a few times is comfy, colour is great and really sticks out, the watch would take any NATO G10 strap which makes it easy to change the look. The face is nice and clear and very easy to read, the backlight makes night time viewing very clear to. A great all round watch.

I have only worn this watch for 1 day and overall I quite like it. It was around £50 (uk) and seems reasonable for the money. Looks are good although it’s not the most legible watch. The black printed numerals on a dark kakhi dial can be difficult to read at some angles. The white hands are definitely not as white as the photo so the contrast isn’t great. The strap seems decent quality and a nice dark green/brown which looks great with the black case and kakhi dial. One thing that is cool is that when you press the crown the whole dial lights up with a blueish light. The other thing I would comment on is that for a 40mm dial it fits well on my 7inch/17.5cm wrist, although it seems to wear quite small for 40mm. Maybe I’m just used to wearing a bigger watch. Overall I like the looks and wearability. Definitely a few flaws as mentioned above but for the money I do like it and think it’s worth the money. I have only had it for one day though! :)

I’ve had a couple of these watches and still not disappointed Good quality and wears well Paid a good price for the black one all though other colours seem a bit pricy

I really like this watch. It looks good and the orange strap gives it just a touch of distinctiveness not matter what I might be wearing. Great watch and highly recommended.

Great looking watch but the backlight failed after a few days. I've checked the internet incase it was me doing something wrong buy there are poor reviews everywhere. This is NOT a rugged watch. I've now got to waste time returning it and I had also bought a new strap. I'll not be wasting my Timex on these clowns again. Grrrrrr!! I'm angry at myself for not being more thorough with my product research.

Very robust and easy to use.

This watch has come in handy more times than I can count. At night, I can look at the time two ways, with the built in light or if the hour and minute hand are lit up. It's rugged, and has stood the test of time for the months that I've had it. Barely any chipping, and I put it through it's paces. The band has held together well, also. I like the color a lot, and despite being blue it matches pretty much everything I would want. It's nice to have the date as well, I can simply look over if necessary and know what day it is. The mechanism is quiet as well. You won't be kept up by the ticking if that is something that bothers you. I would buy this again if necessary.

Buena calidad, apariencia y gran precio. Tengo otro timex y la verdad la marca nunca decepciona, tienen grandes diseños y buenos mecanismos por precios muy competitivos. Definitivamente este Expedition Scout es una gran alternativa si quieres un reloj de campo pero no quieres pagar por un Hamilton. El tamaño de 40mm me pareció muy adecuado, la correa es de muy buena calidad, tiene algunas cuestiones de materiales como el cristal que no es antorreflejos o la caja que aunque se ve súper bien es de latón. Aún así por el precio es una gran compra no la pienses

Great to wear a Timex watch again. I have both casual Expedition and Waterbury dress watch. The leather straps on both feel good quality - love the look of both!

The watch is OK. A bit loud, some quality issues with the coating (not uniform). OK for a beater watch. On the Irish Amazon it's overpriced. Use another version, U.K or DE. The Strap is terrible, cheap, zero quality with nylon stitching that scratches your wrist. I binned it 1st day. Overall I wouldn't recommend it. There are better options at similar price points.
