This is a hit EVERY TIME! The way we played it each time was to divide the crowd into 2 teams. Every person on the answering team writes their answer and then a team leader shuffles it and hands it over to the guessing team. The guessing team matches each answer on the card to the person in the answering team. Once they say they have their final match to each person, the answering team ONLY shows which cards were guessed CORRECTLY. We did NOT reveal the incorrect ones belonged to whom. This way, it made it a bit more challenging for the game.At first we thought of doing this mostly to save time BUT got an amazing discovery. When we did this we nearly pee in our pants laughing as we watched the other team huddling, discussing, trying to figure out who said what and why bec they would debate and theorize (by looking at us or under advisement of one person on team who thinks they know someone well enough on other team) on why they think this person said what.Their commentaries alone as they went out about their 'sexual profiling' were hysterical!!! Days after we'd still be cracking up thinking about the guesses and responses!!!Now, for the record, these are all adult, open minded men and women. There were about 10-12 people in total playing. Most of us didn't know each other, a handful knew each other very well. Honesty matters bec makes game more interesting/meaningful. Penmanship can be give away (way around it is to switch it with other team members).I originally bought this for a newly married couple back in 2010. Never opened up and used it till 2014. The couple has been divorced 2 yrs. Right now in my sexual explorations, I'm working on being less prude about sex in general, but especially in conversation with people of the opposite gender. So, when I was browsing, I was looking more for a talking game, and less of a swapping partners or mono-group sex type of game.Sexxxtions had four 5-star reviews on Amazon, with the first one being August 2, 2012. Good sign so far. I bought it on Tuesday and it got here on Friday, just in time for a post-Halloween party with a small group of friends.We all got sufficiently drunk and decided to have a go of it. There were about 10 of us, so two couples paired up to make it 8 players. Side note here, while you can pair up, I don't recommend it. Since you have to guess who said what, the answers are much more fun if they are individualized.There's a board, everybody has a playing piece and a whiteboard with a marker. You have a guesser who reads the `Sexxxtion' and everybody except the guesser will answer the question. The answers are read and the guesser has to try and match the answer to a person. I didn't quite understand how many spaces the guesser got to move, so we just had the guesser move one spot for every correct match they guessed. There are boner points and TMI cards, which look like fun, but we never even made it that far.We played for a little over an hour and had 7 pieces on the first space and 1 piece on the third space. For this reason, I would recommend playing with a smaller group. Four people would probably be too small, so I would recommend 5-6 players. It can be very difficult to guess who might've wrote down what, so it will go a lot faster in a smaller group.We were playing with a swinger couple and 2, almost 3 polyamorous couples so that may have affected my opinion of the game. I thought, because I'm naturally shy, that I would have a hard time getting into the game, but I think the alcohol helped a lot with that. I was surprised to realize that this game was probably a bit too tame for the group I was in and even for me.While the questions can get personal, you are under no obligation to answer honestly. This can make for some funny answers and we all definitely had a good laugh. One thing I wanted to do, but is not specified in the instructions, was to have everyone say what their answer was after the round was over. This can be especially helpful in a group where everyone isn't intimately acquainted so the guessing would be a little bit easier.All in all, a fun game. Pretty tame, but would probably be a fun time with people you don't know incredibly well, but are not super uptight.
