Hindware Elara Reverse Osmosis + RO+UV+UF+Mineral Fortification Water Purifier, 7 Litre (White & Black)

Using the Hindware Elara RO UV UF Minerals from a month. Results are good. TDS from tap water is around 800-1000, RO's filtered TDS is around 100-120, waste water TDS is around 600. PH from Filterd RO water is around 7.5. I'm from North Delhi and Yamuna river is near our home that's y a good RO was needed. Taste is also above average, you will feel the minerals like zinc iron copper in it. Yes this has COPPER in it, its the sibling varient which is also available on FLPKART, choose which ever costs you less bcoz ultimately it's the same hardware just with different name, this Amazon's has Minerals and FPKRT has Copper + written but FLPKART's version reviews were not good so I selected amazon version bcoz of better service and it's worth it. Water Taste is good but not very sweet bcoz it has other minerals too which slightly reduces the sweetness but good for health. External water filter is not bundled with the RO purchase (rarely any ro provides external filter). We already had an old ro which was 5-6 years old so didn't needed to buy one extra, we just replaced the old filter can with the new one which the installation guy has. But if you don't have any external filter then please buy it separately as its helps with RO's life and in the long term it will be easy on your pocket too as life span of filters will increase from 8-12 months to 18-20 months. Whole tank can be filled in around 30-40 mints and can be dryed in around 5-10 mints. Water wastage average. Little slow but does it work nicely. For a family for 5 members it's completely sufficient. We can also use the RO while it's purifying at same time, water pressure will be reduced but if you tank is empty just 10 seconds ago and you put bottle under it, it will start pouring the purified water instantly although quantity of filling the water is reduced but you can use it instantly. AMC cost was around 4,300 for all filters so I have not purchased it instead I'll ask for service in every 6 months and will only replace the filter which needed to change. Service cost is only 300 so this is much better than whole complete AMC of 4k for 1 year. Hope this review helps to clear some doubts.

Works well. Looks premium. Low noise and no leaks. Professional installation. Pre-filter doesn't come in the box. So, get the prefilter casing, twine spun inner filter and 2 elbows from your local shop. I bought the casing for 100 rs and filter for 300 rs from our local shop. But the technician quoted 1200 rs for casing and 600 for filter. So, better buy before installation. Water taste is not that great, probably because of the minerals. My tap water tds is 550 but filtered water tds is just 50. So, good enough i guess. Filtration and wastage ratio is like 1:4

Hindware Elara is the most pathetic water purifier you can buy. This device makes too much and to loud of the noise and for a very weird engineering flaw sucks back into it the water it is supposed to dispose-off in the sink, due to which the machine inside is always on and working, which not only causes a noise problem but also consumes more electricity, and spoils the filters sooner than it is generally required. The water dispensed for drinking also does not have a fountain-like flow, which other water purifiers are generally have no problem doing, and last but not the least, the after-sales service is worse than a locally-manufactured water purifier and the customer care team is unreasonable, illogical and is straight-forward money-minded.

Storage is 1-2 ltr less than stated, but overall product usage is more than satisfactory. Taste is how water should taste. Super. I have used it for more than 1.5 yrs now. Indicator also work fine. Till now I have got it serviced once for change of filters as usual routine.

It's been 3-4 days since I got my RO installed. The delivery was quick but installation was delayed. (I think, it's is still quite quick considering COVID knockdown. RO quality is very good. Taste of water is also very good. My only complaint is that the Tap for Water Dispenser is very fragile. I am worried that it might break. Also, the volume of water tank is not sufficient for a family of more than 4 persons.

I am using it since 5 years and brought this for my parents now excellent at the price.

The product looks very nice but the service by Hindware is very sad. They have outsourced their work to vendors which do not turn up on time. The product is leaking from last couple of weeks now. Technicians came twice to fix and did not work. I am still waiting for the technician to come and fix the issue. AMC is almost half the price of product and made me think if Bisleri water cans are more reasonable ad cheaper than this product. They have also outsourced AMC to vendors and they will quote you more than the price set by Hindware. I paid 4000 after negotiating for half an hour as they asked 4500 whereas later I found that AMC charge by Hindware was 3835. It shows that how can third party vendors can fail the Brand so Hindware should introspect on it. Product was very good for an year and now its like an ailing child which needs doctor/hospital visits frequently.

The product is very good. It functions properly. The design of the tap makes the tap open in opposite directions due to which the extensive use of the tap in both the directions resluts in a slight leakage (drop wise which is also manageable). But the service of the company is very prompt. An engineer will come and fix it in your convenient time. So no issues.
