Not sure this will work
I did not realize the directions state your house should be 70°-75°. This time of year, my house is 60°. So it will probably be fine once summer hits. But unlikely to reach optimal temperature currently. I have eggs going in a different incubator, i just wanted to use this one for the lock down period since the eggs are hatching at various times. As long as it holds temp, it shou ld work.

Poorly put together; just a small nightlight lightbulb
I guess you get what you pay for! This was cheap so I got it for my son so he could hatchout one of our chickens eggs as a homeschool project. When we got it I was very disappointed. It is cheap plastic, with a small piece of tinfoil and a small light (like you would find for a nightlight or Christmas tree bulb). I could have easily concocted something myself for free.

This incubator does not get hot enough to incubate eggs.
I purchased it used, thinking it'd make a fun classroom project for my daughter's pre-school. I was told the incubator, although used and a bit beat up, still worked to incubate eggs. I tried with quail eggs and the ONLY one that got warm enough was the one directly next to the light bulb, the other's did not get above 84 degrees. The instructors manual came with it, although it did not list if I could use a higher wattage bulb, only listed "7 watts" as the bulb to be used.

tiny little thing
Very cute and tiny, they recommend taping it down to a small board or heavy cardboard and I highly recommend doing that if it is in a classroom or around children because it will tip and spill your eggs.....super teaching tool for children and adults alike

you cant set it and forget it
I was using this to teach my 3 year old. I had one egg hatch but would have liked to see all 4 quail. I found myself checking the tep 4-5 times a day. If your home and able to monitor the incubator it works. My little chick is 2 weeks tomorrow and my child had learned a lot.
