Excellent replacement part
Easy to replace the flush canister. In our application did not need to remove tank. Just twist off existing internal tower (within old canister) and insert new canister. Kept the original valve in place. Took only 5 minutes to do the replacement. Working great!

Perfect replacement part
This kit provides everything you need to replace the canister flush valve. But note that you need a special tool to unscrew the valve from the toilet tank. I had bought a 3" wrench from my hardware store for this, but it didn't work because the screw is actually larger than 3"! I was able to unscrew it using an oil filter pliers. This is the one I bought from Amazon: WORKPRO 12" Adjustable Oil Filter Pliers, Oil Filter Wrench Adjustable Oil Filter Removal Tool (W114083A).

Complicated installation but fixed my problem
I had a running toilet for years! Literally years because I could not figure out what was wrong with it. Replacing this part involved 2 men and full deinstalling and reinstalling of the toilet and a considerable amount of frustration on the part of said men but now that it is done the toilet works perfectly. It saved me from having to hire a plumber. I wouldn’t say it’s an easy fix but the price is right if you are willing to do the job yourself and suffer the aggravation of taking the entire toilet apart.
