Works on T500
Worked great on my 95yo Mom’s T500. A chain office supply place sold her one for $50 that didn’t work. We returned it and I found this one. Not only does it power her old computer but she is thrilled about the price, too. She is one happy lady!

Actual test results for a good value confirmed!
First, this is a cheap replacement for your old laptop so don't expect it to be quite as good as the OEM. I took this to my bench right away and did some testing to see how this thing faired, and it did just fine much to my relief.My test results over several test were as follows:1. Volts: 19.8-20.4 (decent range but not not quite as tight as the OEM one I have that outputs 19.9-20.2).2. Amps: I was able to max it out around 4.38 amps which is shy of the 4.5 amps but not tragically so.3. Watts: Total watts maximized at 87.654 watts which is perfectly acceptable for a 90 watt item with only a vary small variance.Bottom line: The OEM one I have puts out a solid 90 watts and actually a bit over which is cool, but these are so close to each in spec that they are within a reasonable margin of error of one another so they are essentially the equal for real world purposes. For the price this is great option. As for longevity I imagine they are using cheaper capacitors etc so it won't last as long, but only time will tell. Overall, this was good replacement for me.

Adapter charger works great, could not be happier with the purchase.
Brought a fifteen year old laptop back to life! I had not been able to use the laptop for more than five years as I could not charge it. I connected the adapter charger and it worked almost instantly. Nothing short of amazing.

T430 Thinkpad Gets HOT Died after 21 months.Again, this would get very HOT when charging. It started dying after about 1.5 years and 98% dead at 21 months.These should last longer.
