Incredible upgrade
I recently upgraded my home cinema system with 12-gauge speaker wire, and the difference has been incredible. The thicker gauge ensures excellent sound quality, allowing for clear, crisp audio, even at higher volumes. The bass is deeper, and the overall sound is much more dynamic compared to thinner wires. The build quality is also solid, with durable insulation that makes installation easy and secure. I’ve noticed no signal loss, even with longer runs of wire. If you're serious about getting the best sound from your system, I highly recommend 12-gauge wire for a noticeable audio upgrade!

Brilliant sound quality
I run a Monitor audio system with the Yamaha amp, I have been through several different leads/wires over the years. I Just recently moved so I had to replace all the wires. Thought I would try these as seemed to look like good and substantial. They are indeed a good quality lead. they are thick, they are the least the size of pencil or a pen in diameter. The result is in opinion a better quality sound. I tried it multiple times with the different connections or different leads and every time I hear an important. I could hear a difference between the two, so yes I think it’s very good, definitely worth it.

Cinema quality
Brilliant speaker wire. Works great and fantastic quality. This is one for making a great home cinema system.

Very good
The cable is exactly as described. As others have pointed out you risk cutting through the coloured cables if you use a stanley knife. The best way to avoid this is to not use a knife but small sharp nail scissors instead by cutting downwards between the black and red cables rather than across. See the photo for what I mean. If you do accidentally cut through the red or black rubber just cover up the exposed wiring with speaker cable tape. Always cut off 10 - 20cm more than you need in case you do mess things up though. I found stripping about 8cm of the outer cable cover at each end made it easy to attach spades or banana plugs with for the right amount of slack.

A good deal for decent cable
This is genuinely a good deal for OFC cable. I've used it to replace some CCA cables & now my home cinema speakers sound richer, deeper & warmer. A noticeable difference. If you have a decent amp & hi spec speakers this is a no brainer. But if you have budget components, spend your money elsewhere.

Low cost heavy speaker cable that is now somehow cheaper.
I bought this speaker cable at approximately £1.20/m. I cut two 7.5m lengths and finished the cables with Chord legs and QED banana plugs which cost 3 times as much as the cable. These cables were placed between a Naim Supernait 3 and pair of Monitor Audio Gold 100 speakers replacing cable that retails at £20/m without termination. Was there an audible difference? Yes. Is it as good as Chord Rumour X or QED XT40i? No. Is it better than bell wire (which can’t be much cheaper)? Infinitely so if not quite as flexible or hideable. If you want to see if flimsy speaker cables are diminishing your amps ability to supply power without breaking the bank and you don’t mind cables larger than 13 amp rated flex, then at the now reduced price of a little over 70p/m I would recommend this cable.

Good value for OFC 12 Awg (4mm2) speaker wire.
Review on 12 Awg (4mm2) I recently purchased a set of (x4) DJ/PA 3 way speakers 1000w total and 1000w amp (manufacturers figures) so 250 watts each speaker with a 10” sub per box so a decent thickness in wire would be required to move the subs. This OFC wire was not much more than the CCA wire & I have 30 year old OFC (2mm2) on my hifi stuff & it still looks like new so no brainer to buy this, my hifi amps will only really accept the (2mm2) but these DJ/PA speakers & amp are all post connections & will easily accept x2 4mm2 cables to each post ie speakers wired in parallel. I also considered using electrical copper wire 4mm2 (conduit wiring – similar price to OFC) but it doesn’t really have the flexibility as this wire & reasoning is with multiple strands if one strand breaks its minimal signal/power loss & also conduit copper isn’t milled the same. So to conclude you will probably only buy this once & for the minimal difference in price over CCA its worth it (hifi I would use the 14 Awg - 2mm2), easy to remove insulation score lightly with knife bend cable to break insulation pull off with fingernails.

Excellent
I’ve used about 6 rolls of this now & every time it is really good quality. Thick insulation that won’t get damaged or snagged when pulling it through tight spaces, thick copper conductors so little electrical resistance. I know some speaker aficionados think that speaker cable matters but I don’t see how it can! We have KEF speakers all over the house and they sound phenomenal

Best wire for the money
This speaker wire has surprised me it is the best value for money and best quality. The jacket is pretty stiff and pretty hard in colour white so you can run it through conduit under the wall or on under the floor. I ordered the 12 awg and trust me these wires are amazing to very thick and hard time putting through the Denon binding post but quality is amazing. I also have the C&E 14awg ones for 4k for surround speakers as 12 awg were not available and hard to wire across the conduit these ones beat the C&E any day. Setup- Q acoustic 3050i floor standers, q acoustic 3090 centre and sem for surround 3010 and monitor audio sub powered by Denon x 2700h with the LG IPS 4K 65 inch panel

Calidad
